I would give it 1/2 star if I could. The wheel was not round, it was an ellipse. The finish was terrible, not sanded. and the washer in the middle was off-center. That is why I returned it.

We got a wooden pirate ship playhouse for our bunnies. They love it, but it was quite plain so we dressed it up with a pirate flag on a pole and (all from Amazon) some pool floats for fenders, a 5" cast iron anchor intended as a coat hook -- and this little ship's wheel.As you can see from the photos, I made a simple little console to mount it on and it's a nice finishing touch.If you read most reviews for these 6-9-12" wheels, a common complaint is an unexpectedly long shipping time. This listing doesn't seem to have that problem, we got it in less than a week from the West Coast. Workmanship is another common complaint with these. This one, though, was almost perfect (just one tiny area of missing wood in a place you'd never notice without close scrutiny).We couldn't be more pleased with the results. We're just hoping the bunnies don't like the varnish and don't nibble it to bits, something bunnies tend to do! But if that happens, well, we'll just order another.
