Authentic Malaysian Extra Hot Chilli Sauce 320g (Pack of 6)

This chilli sauce is pretty unique to most chilli sauces as it doesn’t have the sweetness that I dislike so much with general chilli sauces. Good value for money and goes with so many dishes.

Never able to get these in the supermarkets even thou they say they sell them on line they never have in stores so this is the best way to buy I use regular on food as ketchup and in cooking to add a punch Works out no more expensive and have a good date on jars although kept in the right conditions there good for up to 2yrs past the sell by date unopened.

No issue with the product except for the expiry date which is too short. Could it be because there are excessive amount unsold?

I've loved this Malaysian Extra Hot Chilli Sauce from Maggi for years, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find on the high street for some reason. Thankfully, the Big River has come to my rescue with this six pack. The sauce itself doesn't disappoint in the heat stakes, but it's definitely not one those gimmicky chilli sauces that will take your face off and render your tastebuds useless for the rest of the day. It's more subtle than that. Fruity, warm, and slightly sweet. Great on burgers when mixed with a little mayo, neat with nuggets, or added to a bastardised Bolognese sauce. In short, delicious, whatever you decide to do with it. Five stars and a big fiery thumbs up from me 🔥 👍🏻

This was the brand of chilli sauce used by the chip shop on my kebab after a night on the lash back in my student days. Never spotted it in supermarkets so checked it out on Amazon and here it is. Just as delicious as I remember it (even when sober) though my kebab days are long gone. It's hot but the fruitiness lessens the impact and stops it becoming unpleasant. Very versatile. Adds punch and piquancy to many foods. Nice consistency that is neither too dribbly nor too thick that it takes an age to shake out of the bottle. If you want to perk up your food and can take the heat, get some.

Not how I remember it tasting, but it still tastes okay.
