This product is very well made. However, I did not read the details that informed me that it could not adhere to painted surfaces, so I could not use it.

This thing is a monster. I opened the package and put in down on the granite island in the kitchen while I checked the instructions. This sucker (literally) attached itself to the granite and was extremely difficult to get off. I then took it to the shower where I wanted it installed. Following the instructions, I applied it to the tile. Easy. I took a look at my work and I noticed (1) it was crooked and (2) I had not expanded it far enough. I could not get it off to reposition it. I emailed the company, two days ago, and have yet to hear back. Today I was able, with great effort, to get it off. It is sitting on the bed, with me daring it to stick to a blanket ;>).It's going back up. Hopefully, I will not need to fight with it further. With all this, I cannot recommend it.

I previously left a disappointed review for this product. I was amazed when the company reached out to me to offer a replacement or refund, but also to let me know that although failure rate is minimal, I might’ve received a flawed product. I opted for replacement, and am very happy with the performance of this towel bar. It is adhering well, is space saving, sturdy and a very nice look. I would definitely recommend it, and really was impressed by the company’s response.

Suction cups were very strong on a smooth glass surface, but didn't work on patterned shower doors or textured wall. So had to return.
