LG Electronics K3 - Factory Unlocked Phone - (Black)

I like the phone but when I purchased it the description said it was an unlocked Verizon phone. When I went to Verizon to transfer my service to this phone I was told they could not do this because it wasn't a Verizon phone. Now I have a phone I have to activate on a different service.

An excellent phone for the price. Responsive, versatile, etc.!!!BUT!!! I have 3 of these units, both used and new. None of them work with AT&T SIMs, and none of them work in Africa! I could not get anyone at the (corporate) AT&T store to fix it, nor could I get an AT&T tech on the phone to get it to work. It would send/receive text messages, and could connect to WwiFi, but would not make/receive voice phone calls.Apparently they work just fine on TMobile.And supposedly this webiste has info on how to make it work. In less than two years the battery won't hold a charge for more than an hour.

Decent little phone. Is not compatible with AT&T.Returned this one and ordered one direct from LG...not compatible with AT&T.

Great compact smartphone! I like phones under 5 inches so I bought this LG K3 with somewhat low expectations. It is a factory unlocked phone so it's not badged with any ATT, Boost, or Virgin logos. It arrived in a white and silver LG box. It comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and it contains no bloatware. It's just plain Android with no bloatware which is exactly what I wanted. It is very responsive and its LCD touchscreen is really nice. It has 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. I added a 16GB SD Card. I'm using it on T-Mobile in the USA and it works great. It uses a Nano SIM card, and the battery is removable. Overall the LG K3 is an amazing smartphone for its price and features. If you are a fan of compact smartphones then look no further.

I got this phone for mother in West Africa and the phone turns out to be locked even though I bought it unlocked with GSM unlocked written on it , it doesn’t work and am trying to return but they giving me stories on the return issue.
