Puentes Denver 3 Pc Wood Tie Bar Clip Set, 3.8CM 1.5 Inch Real Wood, Macaranduba, Bamboo, Palo Santo Box

I have never seen any wooden tie bands before so I keenly ordered this item and waited for it to arrive. It arrived in a timely fashion in a lovely box called Puentes Denver almost velvety in nature. I'm not sure what the connection with Denver is. Three tie bands were present and accounted for. I tried on the first with a knitted tie the wooden part instantly came away from the metal tie clip part. I noticed that it the wood had been glued on and not very professionally at that. Luckily I had recently bought some superglue so after a little fiddling I managed to stick it back on. I had expected a wooden tie band as advertised not just a wooden piece glued onto metal and poorly done so at that. Description aside my version is holding firmly. I have the superglue to hand just in case the other two share the same fate!!

Ordered on Prime and it came the next day as expected. Really nicely boxed, and they look just like they do in the photos. However, one of the clips (the light bamboo one) was glued a bit high onto the metal clasp and you can see about 1 mm of the metal bar from the front. My husband and has not used them yet, so not sure how durable they are, but he was really happy with the gift!

looks beautiful but bad quality, wore it for 2 hours and lost the piece of wood on it.put on another one and after 3 hours that one fell off too. its a shame as they are so beautiful.note that i am not running in the forest with them or practicing Jujitsu with them, just sitting at my desk.

I love the product. I usually do not wear slim ties, skinny are a no go for me, but I wanted an appropriate tie clip for the ones I own. Previously I wore a bigger clip slanted, which is a great look on its own if you want to add character to your outfit but I decided to gives these a try. At first I was impressed by the box they came in. It is perfect and indicative of the quality of the product.I opened the box and they seemed a bit small but as soon as I put them on, they seemed to fit the tie size perfectly. I guess I was biased coming from a bigger tie clip but the proof is in the pudding. Obviously these are meant for slim ties, wearing them on a bigger tie would look silly. That being said I would buy the product in a heartbeat if a bigger size was also available.Now a bit on the negative, when I opened mine one of the wooden pieces was detached from the metal clip, the second was a bit chipped however I contacted the seller and I was sent a replacement. In both oders the third clip was a bit green, something that can't be seen in the image but to be honest it looks really good so I have no complaints there but it should be said so others can make an informed decision.All in all it's a fantastic product and most of all a fantastic seller. If you like that short thing, I would stronly advise you to combine with a pair of wooden Wayfarers found on the site and rock the look to the end of the world!

Beautiful tie bar clip, but unfortunately producers did not pay attention to quality and details. You really need to be careful when you put and remove it in order not to damage your tie. Maybe I was unlucky.

Good quality clasp. Would be great if they offered different sizes. Overall quality product. Won't soon be damaged or have to be replaced. The third of the three in the photo doesn't reflect with the one received. Looks as a different wooden pattern. But still very happy with the purchase

Good product and clip mechanism is quite firm. I'd say it's a little too small for a conventional tie. Covers 1/2 the width ofa normal tie but tie clips should cover at least 3/4 of the width

It's a lovely product and it's different. Only four stars because one of the clips, the wood fell off the clip(probadly a one off) and apart from that great product.
