Nanoblock NBPM007 Pokemon Gengar, Colourful

I love Gengar and this nanoblovk build is so perfect for it. It's a solid "square" foundation build that fits Gengar's overall shape. It's hard to describe, but when you have some pokemon that have more complicated designs, Gengar fits this well.

Love it :) Gengar is very happy at my desk with my old (pokemon red era) gengar figurine. (Funny to see how the colouring changed over the years). "Nanoblocks" are interesting. I won't hold it against their marketing too much for using the buzzword 'nano' for anything remotely small (let's be honest, they're milliblocks lol). They're a bit fiddly and I imagine people will lose pieces, especially the '1' square bits, but the design has been well made and there's good structural support when it's completed. I had a lot of fun building it up. The packaging and contents are well presented and you get a lot of spare pieces provided just incase :) The figurine builds to something like 4cm deep by 5cm high and wide and is gengar's lovely plum purple colour (rather than the almost dark lilac in the picture). Thinking about getting a squirtle in the not-too-distant future, mewtwo looks appealing, but i'd like to see a wider range to choose from :)

It's cute af, an easy build and looks great , piplup was my first starter pokemon. So I love anything to do with Piplup. But this isn't a box of 12 like advertised, I wanted an army of piplup not a lone solider. So I'm a little let down it's great and I love it but just be aware that it's not a box of 12

I bought this for my teenage son, it was so fun! He built it and I have too, we have gone on to buy a lot more of these. It’s harder than Lego with not as many pieces and good for your purse!

My boyfriend love Pokémon and these little Lego type building ones. Absolutely loved this Gengar one I got him for his birthday and can’t wait to build it

I was a bit unsure about getting this, I honestly figured the pieces would be very thin and wouldn't look anywhere near as good as it does in the stock photos, and held off on buying it for quite a while just because the price at the time I bought mine was $17.99 and I really didn't want to spend that much money on this when I was unsure about the quality. I finally caved and bought it, I have been a huge Pokemon fan since my best friend at the time introduced me to Pokemon the year Red and Blue were released in the US, and was surprised at just how high quality the pieces are and how nice and vivid the colors are and how premium it looked. The instructions can be a bit confusing at times, they aren't bad directions but there are just so many pieces per level that it is easy to miss one or put a wrong sized one in which causes you to have to take it back apart to that level and fix your screw up. Nanoblocks really knocked the ball out of the park with these, they are so popular that Nintendo gave them permission to make more. They are releasing a Dragonite, Lapras, Caterpie, and maybe one or two more new sets in May. I have seen pictures for the Dragonite, Caterpie, and Lapras sets and they even better than the original sets IMO. I can't wait to put more together!!! The pictures I have included are a bit washed our color wise, they colors are brighter than they really are in person thanks to the Nexus 6's camera making everything appear off. The actual colors are a bit darker than in the picture and really match Gengar's in-game colors.
