No instructions, so how does one use them? My fish feed at and from the surface. Do the sticks float? What prevents the stick being eaten/or disolving
Does this contain copper as there are snails in my sons tank?
Buying these for my tropical but wondering if a few of these would work in pond with 4 gf/1koi for 3 days?? #tropical tank

I bought these for my community tank and my Mollie Fry Tank while I was away for 4 nights, I also bought the Gel. I found my Fish much preferred these sticks to the gel, my main problem is I have a large plec, and he would come out and finish half a stick in less than 15 mins, so I was a bit worried that my other fish wouldn't get fed, I broke the sticks in half and dotted them around the tank as with the Gel. I returned home to 2 healthy fish tanks, with all fish in tact!! something I was very worried about as this was the first time I had left the fish. I did have to clean the filter pipes , as they were getting blocked, but I guess that's down to fish waste rather than this food. I will definitely use these fish sticks in future!

I wasn't sure if this would work for me or not. I put some of these in the tank as back up to an automatic feeder whilst I was away for a week along with some weekend blocks. On my return the fish were fine, the blocks had dissolved, but I had some bits of this left over - meaning the fish didn't eat/like, and hadn't fully dissolved.I have some left over, and will use again when next away, but still not sure if I'll buy this again for my fish and tank set-up.To be fair, I feed different foods to different fish, and the ones I had hoped to benefit from these sticks were the ones most able to enjoy the other foodstuffs as well - so they were probably overfed anyway.

These work well for me
Last 6 days, 200 ltr tank, noting dies, repeated used. Like them as you can very for different vacations and not use the whole thing like other products, my preferred go to. Used for years. Don’t stop making this please!

Ideal for tropical fish when having a day or two away.
Excellent product - Now I know I can go away for a couple of days without compromising the health of my aquatic fish. I know that it is only a pack of 10 but that doesn't matter because I will only need 2 or 3 for the duration away from home. Also as the brand is Tetra, one knows that they are purchasing a good brand. (They actually can in total last up to 6 days). Came very well packaged too. Would definitely recommend - why risk losing fish?

We too go away for three weeks and it’s an issue. I certainly wouldn’t use weekend sticks. I buy a 2 week holiday block and put fresh plants in, if I go in the summer I put in elodea, but as we go in January, not an option. I add their usual flakes and cat fish pellets (daily allowance) before we go. I’m fearful that too much food will simply all dissolve and cause problems. Over feeding and mould. Certainly weekend sticks are designed to disintegrate over two days. I wouldn’t risk it. As more people are going away for longer, manufacturers should look at this seriously."}}]}]}
