Bought this dump pouch after forgetting i ordered a cheap one the week before. So i can compare directly between this and a no name one The maxpedition brand one fabric is better quality and for the same size of dumb pouch packs down way smaller. The molly is just webbing and doesn’t have the vertical straps. I think this one will hold up to a lot more abuse than the no name one. The belt loop seems very sturdy.

Expensive but a very clever and hard wearing piece of kit. Good stitching and good material. UPDATE: Few years later and still showing no signs of wear.

I was lucky enough to get one of these dump pouches for Christmas ( my partner let me loose with her debit card) . I got it with the intention of always having it on my belt day to day for some extra storage (I hate things poking me in the leg when in jeans pockets). The pouch exterior is made of the usual 1050 ballistic nylon that Maxpedition is famed for, It has been treated with Teflon and a triple polyurethane coat to shrug of water and dirt. To unfold you just pull the tab at the bottom to pull the velcro apart and unfold (I personally dont like this and would have preferred a buckle). the main body of the bag is nylon and fairly strong but will rip if you snag yourself on a thorny bush. You can store a fair bit in the bag(think water bottles and cameras), the drainage grommet in the bottom will allow water through if your drink leaks inside. There is also a draw string at the top to prevent things falling out. overall very nice but I am not a fan of velcro closures as they are noisy and get less grippy over time.

Well made and tough. Great little addition to my kit. Certainly buy more maxpedition kit as I need it.

Fantastic add on to your prep bag / 72hr bag ideal for festival's too...a must.. fits onto a belt or webbing..

I ended up purchasing this to use as a heavy duty small rubbish pouch that was going to be attached to my zero turn. I needed something well stitched, w/ heavy duty material and durable enough to withstand being in the elements all day every day and this more than fits the bill. Highly recommended and would definitely buy again.

This pouch has been a life-saver! I bought a 511 Backpack with MOLLE webbing and thought “I should get a pocket that can hold my iPad mini so I can be hands-free while I'm walking around”. This pouch couldn't have filled the job better! This size pouch is perfect to hold an iPad mini and I also use it to hold one food item (a bottle of water, a take-out container on its size, a bag of chips, etc) as I'm walking around. The size is smaller than 1 plastic shopping bag, so if you're wanting to accommodate a full-sized tablet or a few items I would recommend going one size up. As for the construction and build quality: this is one of my first maxpedition pieces and I'm thoroughly impressed with it. I've used it for months with no visible signs of wear at all. Truly unbelievable. This will stand up to any abuse you throw at it!

This pouch is perfect. Strong design, tough fabric, cords, and velcro. The pouch is so deep but packs down so small I bring it everywhere. Handy for home improvement and yard work as a stuff sack for nails, small hardware. Stuff clippings from yard or hold fruit from top of your trees. I bring it fishing to hold my trout or fowl if hunting game bird. Shells and ammo, gathering tinder or berries and nuts while in the back country. Great do all sack well designed and easily carried on your belt. A must buy.

The pouch is well constructed as you would expect from any Maxpedition product. It feels solid, and is very light weight. I like that is collapses ( rolls up ) to fit in a pocket of my bag. I've used it for gathering stuff on hiking/camping trips (tinder/fire starting material, and even berries once. I have no interest in using for Mag clips, since i don't have a gun, but as a dump bag while hiking through the woods, it's a great size.
