An aquarium heater which runs off just 12 volts. It’s a simple fact, if you reduce the voltage you reduce the risk. It couldn’t be easier to use. Simply plug-in and drop-in. The heater is permanently set to 24.5°C. A built-in sensor checks and adjusts the water temperature 3000 times a minute and is accurate to 0.5°C. Accuracy means it’s more economical. The Intelligent Heater uses less electricity than a traditional aquarium heater. Typically, it costs just pence per day to run. The Intelligent Heater is made from polycarbonate which is much stronger. This means you can safely place the heater within your décor without fear of damaging it. Small, but mighty. The Intelligent Heater is suitable for all of the biOrb range and similar sized home aquariums.

Indications

This heater can only supply a maximum of 50 Watts heat energy. If the aquarium water volume & the temperature of its location requires more than 50 W then a bigger heater - maybe as large as 200 Watts - will be required. It is the customers responsibility to size the wattage of the heater to his specific requirement. The colder the aquarium location the more heat required to maintain a constant water temperature. The Intelligent heater is very simple to set up & use. The customer needs to ensure that the correct wattage heater is used in his aquarium. Heaters come in various sizes from 10 watts up to 500 watts. BiOrb only make a 50 Watt heater which may struggle to maintain a constant water temperature if the location of the aquarium is in a cold or draughty room.
