Brilliant paper quality!
Amazing quality paper. I love it so much.Only loses one star on value because in store these are like £3 cheaper, but if you were to order from Ryman online, they are going to charge you the £3 in shipping. So it really just depends on whether you want the convenience.I've used many many sketchbooks in my time and this one is definitely my favourite - lovely thick paper, the grain is perfect in that I can barely tell there is a grain. You can use it for watercolour, pencil, ink etc. Alcohol markers do bleed a little, but not totally through to the next page unless you lay down a LOT of layers. You can put a piece of card or plastic between the pages though if you want to protect the next page. The pages will curl a little from watercolour but I just tie the book back up and let it straighten itself out, and it's always fine.

Lovely
Lovely book, got a lot of pages and feels sturdy while still being classy. The pages are slightly cream and textured which gives it a lovely surface to work on. Looking forward to doing a few sketches on my daily exercise!

Great for the price!
I purchased the A5 sketchbook in this series. The quality is superb for the price. I was hoping to get a bargain and I wasn't disappointed. The paper is forgiving, its not perfect for watercolour, bleeds quite a lot on the page ( does not bleed through) tho I quite like it for quick sketches. Dry brush is best. The paper buckles a little but I use a lot of water. For pen and pencil sketches the quality is outstanding 10/10. Lovely little book, super quality. I will be purchase again. Thank you

Pages are falling out
I like this sketch book, I really do... but I've been using it for about a week now and a few of the pages are starting to fall out or become lose. I'm not being overly rough with the book so I feel slightly let down. Perhaps I just received a faulty one.Other than that, the book itself is really nice. The pages are thick and excellent for use with alcohol markers.

good paper, flimsy elastic
good quality pages and cover, but elastic used to keep the book closed snapped within two days of minimal use.

Awsome
I love this and use it nearly everyday for journaling. Really great quality and thick pages. I love the paper and the strength of the binder.

Impressive
Bought it as first sketchbook, daughter loves it. She's too young to appreciate the band that holds the notebook together or the bookmark, but me and my boyfriend are well impressed with the quality of this notebook. Will be buying more

Stands up and exceeds expensive alternatives
Having used both these sketchpad, and the more expensive Moleskin branded ones, there is no discernible difference. If you want to pay an additional £10 for a brand, so be it, because you're not paying for greater quality
