Great smart watch that's value priced
This watch is a great value. We had a expensive smart watch that broken down. We tried this and 100% happy with it. It's half the price of the of the previous one. Easy to set up and has many of the same features of the expensive smart watch.

Good for what you pay for, tiny inconveniences
It really does last a long time! I just dont like how it lights up… i want to sleep in it to track my sleeping (not convinced its accurate either, i walked around and got water and it did not register i was awake just light sleeping) but if i activate it, it’ll wake me up with the bright light. Good water proof too but i dont go swimming in it. Just accidentally wet it at work (zoo keeper). Good at tracking steps and notifies me for phone stuff. Still getting used to the features. You have to turn on the app for it to catch back up with time.

Interesting Options, Long Battery (for 9 months), Somewhat Limited Functionality, Dead before 9 mon.
EDIT: Mar 12 2925, 9 months after purchase. This year, 12-15 days between charges. Suddenly on 2/23, watch dead when I woke up. Since then, watch lasted 5 days, twice, 4 days, and losing 40% of battery every day. No longer gets texts or alerts from phone. Only when app opened fully does watch sync. From very long battery life to worse than my original. Activity level about the same this whole year.Limited data available outside of app, and even limited inside. Not very good counting laps swimming, and limited details about laps. Overall, if you want a long lasting battery life watch for 9 months, pretty excellent, but the battery clearly doesn't last.EDIT 3/13/25 - Sent message to manufacturer this norning. No reply as of evening. This afternoon, watch suddenly got very hot while sitting on a recliner. (Zero impact.) Won't activate on button press. Expect short occurred and drained battery completely. Guessing short has been progressing since battery drain increased. Lowered from 4 stars to 2. Wondering about another message to manufacturer.UPDATE: 3/20. One week since I sent 2 messages to support. Zero response. Even checked spam with no response. Lowering rating to 1 star. Very unhappy...------- Original belowI tried this watch after my Galaxy Watch 4 stopped holding a charge for 48 hours. This watch with various ranges from 8-15 days between charges was well worth the test. While I'm active, I'm definitely not going 24/7. For the first charge, it lasted 8 days, with about 15% left, so it might have made a 9th, but I'm not so sure. If you're really active, I could see this only lasting 7. A real couch potato might make the 15 days shown in a picture, but I find it very unlikely. For me, it seems like about 15% per day at a peak but usually a hair less.My primary exercise is swimming. 1,000 yards, in a 25 yard pool, broken up to 400 yards Breaststroke, 300 yards free style/Australian Crawl, 200 yards Backstroke, 100 yards Elementary Backstroke. The watch will give SWOLF, but of my 1,000 yards the three times swimming with the watch registered 750 to 875 yards. So, considering it missed between 15-25% of my swim, not so sure how accurate its statistics are. With the Galaxy Watch, I could see all my laps (it wasn't perfect, either, but much closer than the SKG) that it recorded and the stroke. SKG uses VeryFit app, and the app just gives the stroke you did the most. If it will show what stroke was used for each lap, I can't find it. The app will import some data into Samsung Health, but not swimming information as far as I can tell. When working out, at least when swimming, the screen is VERY limited. The Galaxy Watch would show heartrate, which was useful. The only way I've found to get heart rate or take your blood oxygen is to end the workout by holding the single button and re-starting the workout after you've checked your pulse and oxygen. Swiping the screen after activating has no effect nor have I found anyplace to touch to get anything other than a tiny bit of information about workout progress. The watch does give more abilities to monitor your health than the Galaxy Watch. It has blood oxygen (SpO2). Some documentation said it automatically monitors your blood oxygen when working out. Not when swimming (or at least it doesn't record it in the workout, nor does it record it in the normal "here's your blood oxygen" locations. So far, it has NEVER taken it on its own. The only history is when I've asked it to take it.Overall, for the price, a very attractive purchase. I think it looks good on my wrist, and while it does have some functionality limits, hopefully there will be an update to allow more usability with the watch. The long battery life is definitely a good thing!

Why a fee for the app?
This is the opinion so far-we haven’t had it more than a day. I’m here to say watch out for the QR link. it took us to a place to get the manual or the app and that’s supposed to be free and somehow we got a $26 charge. I’m afraid to see what else is gonna happen.

Awesome Product
After 2 apple watches that just died within 3 years, I was reluctant to go spend another $300+. Do I researched alternatives and found a ranking that placed this watch above the apple watch. I was skeptical but the price point, I thought if it didn’t work I could always return it.Well it delivered:- Much easier and faster to install . Literally 2-3 minutes.(with apple watch had to wait quite a while for the setup to complete)- The software is equivalent. Interface, settings , ease of use- the most enjoyable part, charged it over a week ago and the battery still at 77% (apple watch needs to be charged daily)So I’ve bought 2 so far , as it’s also a nice gift to offer friends and family:)
