I have a 2.5” hitch. The drawbar does not have a clean 90 angle- so the edge does not fit as shown in the description. It is a Weighsafe middleweight hitch. However, the item DOES hold everything tight and remove the slop from the hitch to the vehicle, so I kept it. I have not towed very far yet to see if it stays tight. Seems heavy duty.

Before I got this product, my trailer hitch would clunk every time I went over a bump. After putting the clamp on, I had zero problems. No bumps no clunks!The bracket was very easy to install. Robust and durable. Looks like it will last a long time. Easy to install and definitely keeps away the rattling noises from the hitch.Could also deter theft because it will require a wrench to remove the receiver...

Holds everything tight no more wobbles

Installed on my 2016 Tundra hitch and works great, no more slop and clunking.

Bad reviews had me worried for my needs. But suprise. this worked well with my f350 and 41 in hitch extension. I did a 2900 mile trip towing a 101 in x 14 ft trailer total weight of 3500lbs and this did not loosen at all so the extension was held firm. I did get nyloc locking type nuts at TSC grade 5 and backed that with the ones from the kit to keep possible loosening down.

This is the easiest and fastest install ever! Keeping my hitch quiet 🤫!!!

I've only used this once, but it's already outperformed a much more substantial version that I used last year.The tightener is easy to fit and certainly worked to prevent hitch "slop", so I'm quite pleased it with it.The item was supplied with spring washers but these things require a locking nut as well. It seems a bit chintzy not to include two locking nuts in the box.Time will tell if it stretches too much or breaks.

This bracket works wonders to keep the hitch from rattling while towing. Fantastic addition to my towing setup. The rubber coating may not hold up long-term but a piece of rubber tubing or hose should do the trick. Great buy!
