Ebow EBow Plus - Modern Vibrato/Sustain Guitar Effect Device - Black

We bought this for a gift. I I'm told that it is good quality. No complaints.

This is a unit that causes a sustained vibration on a guitar string, making for a note sustained for as long as you wish. It easily produces harmonics and has a setting that makes harmonic production easy. Most importantly, the Ebow guides you to getting lost in your music, taking you places you didn't know you'd wanted to go. I haven't tried this newer version on an acoustic guitar yet, but the version from the early 1990s wasn't really up to the task, but this "plus" version is amazing with an electric. Add in your delay and reverb (and chorus if you like) and you will be building soundscapes in no time. The first time I'd played with it, not loudly and at night, my wife got up from bed to tell me how much she'd liked what I was playing, and that was without knowing how to really play with it. It is sometimes like amp feedback but without the volume. Highly recommended!

I'm so happy with the ebow. Hearing just a tiny sample of what it did in my less-than-skilled hands, my imagination is lighting up! This will be fun!

How can you not give 5 stars. This things gives you a whole other pallet of guitar tones. Inspiring, easy to acclimate too and so far it's been endless in tone, I discover more with each use. Replaced one my dog chewed on (still worked) so I guess dogs love it too!

So much fun, always wanted one, but finally made the purchase. Well worth it, and you can sustain the note for some of your effects pedals to create drones, or sustain your SY-200. Watched comparisons of other products but this one is the real deal, don't cheap out.
