It surprisingly works!
I really didn't expect it to be that good, I used with a porcelain tile to cut the toilet flange hole. It did it very well and surprisingly clean. I used once though, so not so sure about durability but I think as a DIYer, it does the job that I need it for.

Bits very durable
I have only had to use one bit to cut holes in more than 20 pieces of glass and a few pottery pieces. Keep the bit damp with water (I drill through a wet sponge), apply slight pressure and be patient, especially when the bit bit nears the completion of the hole. I have not had a breakage yet.

Works great!
Some people left some bad comments, but it worked just fine for me. I used it to cut some holes into some terra cotta trays that I am using to make a bird bath with. If you put water on the diamond cutter while you are cutting the holes, it doesn't crack what you are cutting and it also doesn't wear out the cutter. I would buy this product again.

Worked well for the tile cutting I needed to do for under cabinet lighting ...
Worked very well for cutting subway tile for my under-cabinet puck lights, which required this specific size, 2 3/8". The holes cut were slightly off center on the 3" wide tiles, so great care was needed not to break the tile. I had a couple of cuts where I broke off one side, but it wasn't the hole cutter's fault (operator error). I only made 6-7 holes with this cutter, so I can't speak to the longevity, but I didn't notice any degradation in cutting over the holes made. I was a bit concerned at the start that this did not have a center pilot hole bit, but I found if I got one side started with a shallow crescent cut, I could work it around to the full circle pretty easily. The cutter will walk a bit if you don't hold steady with both hands. I would also recommend a reference mark or circle outside the marks/circle you'll make for the actual hole. Once you start cutting, you'll obscure or remove your markings, so having a reference point mark or circle just outside your intended hole will help you visually stay your target hole.

Just great
Give a decent cheep solution if you aren't a professional but need just to drill a few holes in tough granite-porcelain sheets

Worked good
We used it to cut hole for single shower knob in tile and it worked take your time and use water with it so it dose not get hot and burn the diamond edge out

not meant for cutting lots of holes
this porcelain hole saw gets the job done. it won't get a lot of jobs done, but if the thought of spending $50+ on a hole saw you're going to use once or twice bothers you—like it did me—then this is your product.you've got to use water with this while cutting. I just occasionally poured a little water around the outside of the saw every 10-15 seconds and it worked just fine.you also need to start at the edge of the location you need cut, tipping the drill to about a 30-45 degree angle and using steady pressure and slow speed to start your cut. once you've cut through the top of the tile's glaze at that point you can start to bring the hole saw more and more parallel to the surface of the tile until you've got the tile glaze cut through around the entire circumference of your cut. starting the cut is tricky, so you may want to have a couple of clamps holding down your work piece. you'll also want a piece of scrap tile underneath.then just keep adding water occasionally until you're through the tile. it left a reasonably smooth cut and I think I can use it for maybe another two or three cuts before it's toast.you're not a professional, that's why you're buying this. if you were/are you should be spending at least $150 on a set of these. this hole saw of any diameter just won't last, but it'll get you through this job and that's enough.I hope that was helpful.

Work well, a little wobbly but does the job
A bit wobbly, but gets the job done.

No pilot bit
Since there is no pilot bit I was concerned that the bit would skip and damage the cultured marble tub surround surface if I didn't insert the hole saw bit properly. Just trying to do my own home repairs, not an expert

Worth the money!!!
Found this to be the proper tool for the job. Installing new shower and need something to cut a complete circle for the water controller. Best way to use is make a jig and tape it to the tile and add water while drilling. Perfect cut!!! Highly recommended.

Good for DIY project
I just use it to cut a hole for flange on porcelain tile. Pretty neat. Can not say if it is good or not for contractors who do tile work every day as I am not using it for those kind of purpose. One thing to pay attention is need to to keep putting water while cutting.

Save your money.
Not very durable, might go through a relatively soft ceramic tile, but anything thicker than 1/8", waste of time. The diamaonds just peel off and the cylinder overheats and bends.
