Not every Olympus compatible remote shutter release will work with the E-M1X model, but the PROfezzion [164'] Wireless Shutter Release Remote Control does, as well as with many other Olympus models. This remote is very simple to use and doesn't have unnecessary functions that you may not need or want to pay for. Buy with confidence.

Works wonderful! Although; it does run your battery down quicker than without. Other than that, it an amazing product!!

Good range but has one major problem - the button is overly sensitive. I use it for bulb mode and take the remote with me to start the shot, but you can't put it in your pocket without it triggering and ending the exposure.Not a problem if you're using for astrophotography or anything which you do from behind camera, but I use for light painting so need to be able to trigger when I'm in shot

Despite being clearly listed as being suitable for my camera model, it isn't! The connection wire is the wrong type. What a waste of everyone's time.

The remote shutter release works great. It is very basic but does the job. A word of warning though. When your batteries get low it will start doing crazy stuff. Continually releasing the shutter and all kinds of stuff. Just be aware of this and realize your batteries need to be replaced and nothing is wrong with the remote. Use this all the time for light painting and macro photography and am really happy.

This is a great piece of kit. I do 'Nightscape Images' so need to light-paint the foreground & having such a long reach makes this remote shutter release a godsend. Works great, weather proof, battery life excellent.

Bought to use with OM1 and it does exactly what it says with no issues. Excellent value compared to OMD ones
