Easy Peasy Chinese Workbook: Mandarin Chinese Practice for Beginners

Found this book not too difficult as an absolute beginner

My eldest is learning Mandarin and no one in the family speaks it, so I’ve been looking for ways to help her learn. This book does just that! Because we can hear the songs sung by native speakers and the text is in characters, pinyin and English, it is such a great learning tool. I’m not keen on too much screen time so the book with the songs recorded is the perfect solution. And with the QR code to listen to the songs, we can use the book wherever and whenever suits us.

Well designed to be easy to use with a backup cd to give correct tones.

This is an absolutely brilliant workbook for a complete beginner at Mandarin. Impressively detailed and all of the strokes that make up characters included, excellent focus on radicals, comprehensively laid out. A perfect starter book for young learners!

very easy to learn! i am a chinese , i think this book is very good and the color is attractive, the paper touch feeling is good too

can in really good condition! through i wasn’t in a package, so if you order with other things it’ll probably get a bit dented. but the pages are printed in high quality and easy to read. but, all the ‘writing’ is written in a calligraphy style so looks different from typed words. so if you copy or practice i recommend using a text keyboard to double check how it looks in practice.

This is a great little workbook. I've been learning spoken Mandarin using audio courses and Pinyin for about six months. Now I want to get famiy with the characters. This is a wonderfully logical and interesting book that I can see will get me off to a great start. Tombow brush pens (pictured) glide beautifully over the paper and don't bleed. I'm an adult learner.

The delivery was fast. The book is in good condition. This book is very necessary for beginners to learn how to write Chinese characters.

Wow what a little gem of a book. It is for Adults and children. A easy way to learn Chinese. I have the companion book to this as well, I recommend having both as the companion book has audio as well.
