Well made, some tips on reassembly
Great quality, great price. Put up the window. Pull off the interior door panel. Remove the three torx screws from the latch on the door jam. There's a little peep window in the interior door to access the forward of the two bolts that hold the handle in place, the other is on the jam. The handle is attached to two rods, one to a bar attached to the handle, the other to the lock cylinder. Use a flat head screwdrive to release the clip under the lock cylinder and push the lock out. Now release the clip on the other bar. That bar goes down to the latch with the three torx bolts. DANGER: Note how the little hook at the end of the bar points towards the back of the car. If you reassemble with the hook facing to the dash, the whole shebang won't fit. Also note that you have to check for depth of the lock cylinder shaft. If it's too deep, like mine was, the edge will inhibit the cylinder's rotation and you won't be able to unlock the door. Do yourself a favor and check this or you will have to take everything apart and start over. Reassembly is no fun. It's best to rotate the lock out of your way, keep the handle level and insert the top, bringing the bottom in until you get that bar attached to the handle clear of the top and in the only recess in which it will fit. You can get the lock back up by manipulating the latch on the jam. You must rotate the cylinder so that the clip is downward, and then insert it into the cylinder shaft, pressing down until it clicks. Yes, there's no room. The first time I used my pinky fingers. The second time I got smart and used a dental pick through the keyhole and pulled the cylinder into place.

Nice looking. tough to install
Nice looking.nMuch dresser than the black plastic oem handles They are all metal and look nice. Only drawback is they are not a piece of cake to Install. That being said they are nice addition to my truck.

My install
The handles themselves are much better than the plastic ones. But, be warned, replacing these handles is a difficult job regardless of which handles you buy. Removing the old handles is easy. But when installing the new ones there is just no way to get your hands positioned to get the lock back in the handle. So, if you have to replace them you may as well buy all metal ones like these so hopefully you won't have to do it again. It took me 4 hrs to install the driver side. That was two days ago. I'm still trying to get the determination to get started on the passenger side. Lol. Oh, and tape around the handle opening if your paint is good. It's easy to scratch the paint as you manipulate the handles.

Very important tips for assembly!
I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado with window motors, and the inside of the door has tar paper and plastic pieces all over it. It's a nightmare to look at, but installation is easy if you read these tips and take them into account after watching an installation video: 1) After you remove the interior panel, there is an access hole for the 10mm bolt holding the handle, all you need is a magnetic socket and you can get to it relatively easy. There may be plastic or sticky tar paper you may need to move out of the way. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE INTERIOR METAL PANEL, THERE ARE ACCESS POINTS! 2) The door handle bezel needs to be unclipped from between the door handle and the bezel, not from the outside of the bezel, so push your panel remover tool in between them. 3) Unbolt the locking mechanism to allow for more maneuverability. 4) Push the door handle latch up when positioning the assembly into the door. That way, the inside lever will go down, making more room for the handle assembly to go in. 5) Use a heat gun or heat source to warm up the plastic seal on the rear of the assembly. It may not be shaped correctly and the heat gun will allow the seal to mold onto the handle assembly and make it a lot easier to get the short, 10mm bolts in.
