I wish that I had known about these stove guards long ago. I ordered the black guards to match my black range top, and was happily surprised to discover that they slid so easily between my stove & counter-tops. This product is wonderful in preventing foods from splattering/spilling between the range & cabinetry. Since they have a silicone feel, I just wipe them down as I clean the stovetop. I have used them for approximately 1 month and am very pleased. Should they wear out, I would replace with the same thing. A great value as well.

After 27 years, we bought a new stove.After pulling out the old stove, it was clear to me, I wanted something that would keep ickies from dripping down the side of the stove.Turns out, after 27 years, the style of stoves has upgraded significantly. Either the stoves are a little taller or my counters in my 27 year old house, are shorter.It's a bit of an issue when it comes to these gap covers.The pictures really do tell the story and I have a bit to add to it.First ... the stove is taller than the counter so the fit is imperfect. No matter how many times I push down along the seam of the counter meeting the stove, the rubber strip gradually continues to pop up until there is a running gap along the edge. Very frustrating! There is no sticking it down. It is insistent on rising back up.For this reason alone, I have knocked off a star. The strips are just not made for uneven surfaces.The pro's however:* It's a very flexible rubber and very forgiving. It will stay where it is even though it will not sync into the gap and stay.* It is effective in keeping anything from dripping or dropping down the side of the stove. Thank you very much!* It's easy to clean whether I run a wet cloth along it to remove any spills or if I completely take if off and wash it.* It's doing it's job even though there is room for improvement. I'll keep it in place until I find a better option.I'm not sure I would recommend this product if you have uneven surfaces as I do however, I'm not sure there is a better option. Keep looking if you need to.

These work the way they are supposed to & keeping them clean is very easy. I used them on both sides. There is a drawback. The right side lifts out very easily to clean. the left side (which is the burner I use the most) not so easy to remove. I thought they were supposed to be heat safe. I tried to lift it out & evidently it stuck to the stove edge due to heat leaving residue from the strip that I have to scrape off the edge of my stove.

Works great and looks good as well. I had to cut them to size but that was easy.
