Schmincke - Aqua-Bronze, silver, 20 ml, 15 815 032, shiny metallic effects on gouache and watercolour paintings, paper, cardboard, painting board, canvas

Add a little tiny drop of water - less is more! Otherwise it doesn't give you the correct depth of colour. No lumps - but mix well first. Add more water as needed in tiny increments. At worse just add more powder to balance it out Goes a long long way. Will last ages. Great colour with lovely depth. I painted onto wood and it was fine. No bleeding out. Went on smoothly. .. dries quickly once applied and washs out of brushes easily with tap water and a little soap. Worth the money. I've got several colours now and am very happy.

This is brilliant, it goes on like silver leaf and it adds loads of gorgeous details to my paintings.

Having bought the gold powder and was impressed with the quality l bought the silver powder , not impressed with the quality it appears more like lead colour than silver.

...mit dem reichgold,war ich superbegeistert. Auf noch feuchtem Untergrund bestäubt(Acrylfarbe)und der Metalleffekt ist sofort sichtbar und glänzend wie ein Goldbarren. Meine Bilder fixiere ich mit Acrylklarlack und kein Goldstaub geht verloren.Bei dem Silberpulver hatte ich anfänglich Probleme, da es nicht so fein und lose wie das Gold war. Eher klumpig,grob und nicht so shiny. In einem Mörser habe ich das Pulver fein gemahlen und siehe da,es funktioniert einwandfrei,sofortiger Effekt wie beim Gold. Kunst macht erfinderisch, man muss dem Material auch ohne 0815Anleitung eine Chance geben,wenn man nur ein bisschen kreativ ist . Zwinker und Daumen hoch.

I ordered both the pale gold and the silver. The gold is very nice. The silver has a very powerful chemical smell that is quite overwhelming and gave me a migraine. The smell lingers for quite awhile and doesn't dissipate. Don't know if I will be using that much.

Buyer beware. I have given this product two stars only because it wasn't what I had expected. I've purchased the Schmincke TroCol Dry Gouache powders before, and was having a hard time finding them labeled as such. I thought this was the same under a slightly different name, but it's not. The Dry Gouache powders were just that. Just the powder. One would have to add a binder to make them into a paint. I use the powders to sprinkle into wet media, so I don't need a binder for them. This product not only has the binder added in, but it's a very pungent, chemical-smelling binder.Bottom line: do not buy if you want to use to sprinkle dry powder into wet media.
