So warm and perfect for camping!

This blanket was well packed and comes in a nice carry pouch. Its easy to stuff back in the pouch. I washed and dried the blanket and it came out fluffy and in perfect condition. The size is good for 1 person or probably 2 small children. There is no temperature rating with the blanket but given the weight and polyester fill, I noted if wrapped around you it takes the chill off and keeps you warm. I would not call it a winter camping blanket though. It's big enough for a 1 person sleeping quilt for camping with but would only use it in milder temperatures. The blanket has 1 set of snaps, 1 set of plastic snaps and 4 canvas loops. They don't tell you what these are for (it would help if they noted it in the description on Amazon) but I wrapped it around myself and the snap and plastic buckle sets are to secure it around your body. I imagine the loops are to stake it down. It's nice for sitting around a campfire or at outside events on cooler days. I'm 5'2' and the blanket wrapped around me and goes to the floor. Its above the calf on my 6' 3" husband when standing. This would blanket would be useful to keep in your car as an emergency blanket or to bring car camping or sitting at an outdoor event when it is chilly. Also an overnight blanket to send with your kids on sleepovers. It's not a backpacking quilt. There are similar blankets on Amazon for the same price/different patterns (this one was really nice). Its overall a nice and easy to clean utility blanket and I received it as a promotion to review. The price was $35 and I would only consider the blanket at a lower price point... around $25 would make it a good value.

As my wife and I age, winter weather seems to impact us more each year. I was looking for a blanket big enough to cover me, but not so big that it is unwieldly like a bed-sized blanket. I saw the Rioyalo Ecosilk Camping Blanket and figured I'd try it out.Unboxing: The blanket comes in a very nice little sack with two plastic lips folded over with a snap-type buckle that keeps the opening sealed. The blanket itself slides out of the bag easily and comes with a snap so that you can wear it like a hoodless poncho.Using: It was cold this morning with a strong breeze blowing. I put the blanket on around my neck and snapped the button (cape like). I stood out in the wind with a shirt underneath. The blanket completely blocked the wind and I felt very comfortable (at least the part the blanket covered). I then put the blanket and sack in my utility sink and ran water over them for 30-seconds. The water just flowed right off and did not soak into the material. Putting the blanket back into the bag was a breeze. Lay it out, fold lengthwise twice (half then quarter width), roll it up like a sleeping bag (it does puff up some like a sleeping bag so just squish the air out as you roll), and it slips right back into the bag. Put the two plastic lips together, roll over the material once, then snap the buckle on the ends of the lips to form a ring and you are done.Results: This blanket is light, warm, comfortable, silky (doesn't snag on things), and packs away compactly. I attached a photo of the bag after I put the blanket back in to it so you can compare my hand with the bag. For dog lovers, my puppy likes it too and added her paw for doggie size comparisons. I give the Rioyalo Ecosilk Camping Blanket 5-Stars and would recommend it to friends and family alike.

They really thought of everything with this! Lightweight, packable, silky smooth, warm, wearable. This will be great to pack along for hiking and to keep warm while stargazing without the hassle of having to hold a blanket around my shoulders. Great gift for those who explore and love the outdoors.

This blanket is awesome! It's very lightweight and packable! It comes in its own stuff sack and compresses down pretty small. The blanket is a great size (in the photos my 6'1" husband is holding it up, and as you can see it's taller than him). The blanket does say "every day is a new adventure" and is grammatically correct. I was worried it would say "every day is new adventure" like some of the product photos show on the listing. It has reflective piping around the edges. The blanket feels like a sleeping bag material. The printed size is a slightly different texture than the blue side, but both feel nice. I tested out the water resistant by dripping some water on it, and it beaded up right away and didn't soak in! The blanket has the clip and snap as advertised so you can wear it around you if you wish. It also has the advertised thumb holes to assist with wrapping the blanket around you or staking it down. The blanket is comfortable and appears to be good quality! I can't wait to use it camping, outdoors, and at the drive in movies in the bed of the truck! Overall, I'm highly impressed!

Really nice camping blanket. We usually have several of these to travel with when we do car trips. The ones we have are plain solid colored ones so when I saw this one with the “EXPLORE” on it, I had to get it. It arrived vacuum packed. I opened it up and within an hour it had “puffed” up to full size. It comes with a cool stuff sack too that matches it. Its pretty big, like maybe a full sized bed at least. I intend to use it inside the hotel rooms because my other half prefers the room to be cooler them I do most of the time and so I find I require more blankets when we travel. Its pretty light weight, but not so light weight I would take it backpacking or anything. Its more of a mummy bag weight when packs up. I do not know if it is waterproof, I would say maybe resistant but I suspect not completely waterproof. Its well made, fabric is nice and smooth and the stitching is good. It appears to be something that will hold up under regular use. The price at the time of this review is inline with similar camping style blankets of this type. Overall, very happy with this purchase.
