Ecoslay Lemon Buttercream Styling Cream

I've got a mix of 2b, 2c, and 3a hair. It's high porosity and medium density. I live in southern AZ where the dew point is very rarely above 40 and the water is hard. I've used SO MANY products over the years and this is the one that works best for me. It's moisturizing enough that I don't need a leave-in and it has enough hold that I don't use a gel. It smells lovely, but the scent doesn't linger for long. My hair is much healthier using this curl cream and I find my results last a good 2-3 days (with day 4 most likely up in a bun because I don't bother with refreshing at all). That said, I believe that if I lived somewhere with humidity, I'd probably need a gel as well when using this product because on the rare high humidity days here (monsoon), I do get frizz. I also appreciate the eco-friendly packaging that you can return to Ecoslay for recycling if your municipality won't do it. I keep the pouch in the back of my fridge and fill up a travel-size squeeze bottle that I keep in the shower. I refill every 3 weeks at most since I don't need a ton of product to get results. The product lasts a long time this way, even without preservatives. I've recommended this curl cream to all my wavy/curly friends.

This product is absolutely legit awesome. My hair is weakened and frizzy by medications I use to fight cancer. All I need to do is work the product through my hair and air dry. My hair looks and feels beautiful. Soft and the curls define instead of frizzing. I expected my hair to feel hard and crunchy. Nope. It’s just the opposite. I love this product.

Hubby even uses it now! : D you can actually feel your hair soaking it up! Cant wait to try some of their other hair nourishing products. We LUV the aroma of lemon; wish it was more fragrant, but that is just a personal preference; very mild fragrance of cookies/cupcakes.

The product is very hydrating, but I wasn’t in love with the smell. It was ok in the smell dept, but it just kind of smelled like old bathroom fragrance to me. Not sure what I was expecting from no synthetic fragrance, but just didn’t care for the scent. A little goes a long way. I liked the fact that it’s so natural it has to be stored in the fridge. Soaks right into my low porosity hair. Overall good purchase if I use it with my Camille Rose products, which I love the scent and ingredients.

Best product I've found for my curly hair. This product lasted me a year. Don't love that it requires refrigeration, but because there is nothing like it, it's worth the hassle.
