My face breaks out like crazy every time I use this mask.

I'm a new found fan of Saranghae. And I really like their elemental essence sheet mask set! The box isn't special BUT it's nicer than most korean based sheet mask boxes I've gotten, so this is one I would consider gifting during the upcoming holiday season.These masks smell lightly of floral and alcohol (alcohol is listed in the ingredients, and there's talk of botanical ingredients on the packaging). I personally like the floral scent, and it was non-irritating which is cool because the last few days my skin has been flaring up red and irritated in a few areas. I love that this mask is super wet with essence but not so wet that it drips down my face. Its winter time and I do not want drippy wetness while it's cold out. I was also surprised to find virtually no essence left in the packet, it was all in the mask. Cool! My only real complaint with this mask set is the fit. These masks are huge. I had to fold them over and they still went into my hairline 😩 But that's the only negative I have. I love these masks, I'll use all 6 and consider reordering when I run out. I'm super curious about the Saranghae skincare line now - I might try out some of their anti-aging products.

Facial masks are a great self care product. I typically use one a couple times a week after my evening shower. Sometimes more often in the cold, dry winter months. I then just relax for about a half an hour reading. These masks are generously sizes, and have ample serum in them. I find that my skin feels good after, and there is no irritation. I just pat in whatever left over serum is left behind, then top it off with a moisturizer.6 come in a pack. Use all for you, or share them. I think these masks would make for a nice addition to a self care/ home spa themed gift or stocking stuffer.I like what I have tried so far of the Saranghae products. This mask was such a treat for my face. The hardest part was trying to figure out how it unfolded once out of the package. Once I got it oriented correctly, I used my hands to smooth the mask all over my face so that it made contact. Once I had this on my skin, it was really cooling and refreshing. As I sat there for the 20 minutes, I could feel the evaporation that made it feel and tingle as if there were mint in it. It is winter now, but I was imagining how this would be so great and relaxing if used in the summer.The instructions say to rub the remaining residue into your skin. The residue feels more like a water based gel and isn't oily or greasy. So I rubbed it into my skin and was a little unsure about this since this still left my face quite wet. I resisted the urge to wipe it away. After about an hour it dried and felt a bit tacky on the skin. After about 2-3 hours, it no longer felt tacky and my skin felt smooth and hydrated. When I woke the next morning, my oily spots didn't kick into overdrive and my skin looked nicely hydrated and smooth.I can't say I noticed too much of a difference in terms of fine lines or wrinkles but it did make my skin more hydrated than just a plain moisturizer. While this mask would have stayed on if I were to walk around and do chores and things, it was such a treat to just lay down and relax for the 20 minutes or so I had this mask on and imagine I was getting a spa treatment. It really felt like a treat!

These are the worst-fitting masks I have ever tried. They are exceptionally wide and short. The edge of the mask went almost into my ear. The piece that covers the nose, only covered half of mine. The piece between the nose and mouth was so out of proportion to my almond-shaped face that it hung loose. I've had and used poorly proportioned masks before--and I've worked them around to fit well enough to take advantage of the product, but this one is ridiculous!It was so baggy and uncomfortable that I pulled it off after 10 minutes of frustration--because most of that time was spent trying to adjust the darn thing!I squeezed out the remaining product from the packet and worked it around my face. The look right after I rinsed and patted dry was great--nice, plump, glowing skin. But 15 minutes later that look was already gone. So, these masks are not for me. I'm thinking, from now on, I'm giving up on masks altogether--I'll squeeze the product out of the mask and packet and just work it around my face.

The Saranghae Elemental Essence Sheet Masks are a pretty good deal for what you get. Each treatment is about $4.00. The mask does a great job refreshing the skin and relaxing the mind. I put it on my wife's face and she started to fall asleep after 15-20 minutes (the suggested time for application). She said it felt like a spa treatment.The skin comes out fresh and relaxed and makes for a good night's sleep. However, I did have issue with its application. It's rather tricky to unfold the mask and pull it apart. But once on the face, it was easy to settle it on the skin. The liquid on the mask is rather generous and does a good job soaking in. It does not drip. Overall, I like it and think it's nice to have the masks on hand for those moments when I feel like pampering myself or my wife.~ Kort
