50 Graded Studies for Recorder (Descant)

Good variety of interesting and fun pieces. Some could be a little longer.

Nice contrast with the 50+ Great Classic and equally as good though harder as the tunes aren't so immediately recognisable so you really have to watch the music.

Gradually introduces the pupil to the more difficult recorder playing. A second volume to continue this process towards more advanced playing would be very welcome.

This is well worth it's price. Clever little tunes to challenge the beginner. From basic to grade fiveeach piece presents a different challenge.

Arrived quickly, working through it to catch up with where I was 40 years ago! Easy to follow, variety in the pieces.

This is a useful book with a wide variety of pieces offering a compass of technical challengers which are refreshing.

Interesting book, good for basic level with some different and unusual music in it. All quite short pieces, though, and sometimes one needs longer pieces to play.
