They have a solid "click"
These are great. I think they are actually better than the connectors Gamin gives you. They "click" into the charging port. My Garmin connects do not click in and it often ends up just not charging at all. I was annoyed you could only buy 3 at first because I just wanted one for my car but now I think I'll just replace my main charger

The Garmin watch connection is unique. It's good to have an adapter for the more common type C connector so you can charge your watch from a commonly available USB cord in case you are on the road without your Garmin cable.
