Mk3 usbc interface use with app
Purchased a multiplus 2 unit but found out needed this item to alter a few settings. At first couldnt connect to app as needed a code. Seller was very helpful and spent time checking and got back to me, everthing is good now :) thank you.

Essential adaptor for Victron VE bus inverter
Essential programming adaptor for Victron VE bus inverters / inverter-chargers, use with VE configure software to set up the device for first operation. Set battery type, capacity and operating modes as well as download assistants into the inverter eg ESS assistant for energy storage systems control.

Worked as intended. Just annoyed that it costs so much, and that my device didn't come with bluetooth to start with.

If you want to change the configuration of your blue box - this is much needed - allows you to really mess things up, so that nothing ever works again 🤣🤣 but if you know what your doing, allows you to fine tweak everything 👍

I bought this device so I could program my Victron Multiplus-II 48V 5000-70 inverter. You can't directly configure settings, enable assistants or update firmware without it. However, once it is configured, if you have a Cerbo-GX and use VRM, you can remotely download and upload the configuration of the device from a web browser. I still needed this to enable the ESS assistant I use, but I no longer have to go outside with my laptop to make any further changes. So if you already have a Multiplus-II and a cerbo, try using remote config with VRM.

The plastic, stickers and connectors are clearly low quality but it works flawlessly. I was expecting a bit more from victron but hey, it does allow me to connect to the multiplus and do my config without any issues.
