(UPDATED) Are you ready for an odd review?
To start, I'll say I think this one falls under "results may vary". Personally, I find it DELICIOUS. Heat tolerances and reactions will vary, depending on a number of factors. I believe one factor is genetics. I don't detect much heat on the middle or frontal tongue. It's at the back of the tongue for me. I've never had that reaction before. It's a sharp heat but not very strong. It makes my tummy feel very warm and pleasant. Here's where things may seem a little odd unless you understand from your own experience with strong peppers... I get an initial and short-lived stimulant sort of feeling like caffeine, followed by a short-lived relaxation, then followed by a long lasting sense of vibrant health!! Like it's a mini fountain of youth! I've heard that strong peepers have an effect on free testosterone production in some men. This stuff is amazing!! I expected it to be far hotter, but I don't blame the product at all. I think it's down to my own body composition. But when a sauce uplifts you with vitality and it's delicious, who cares about the missing hellish burn?UPDATE: It gets stronger in the fridge overnight once opened and shaken well. It's a bit stronger than the Tabasco brand Scorpion sauce. So it's VERY strong. And gets the whole tongue.

Good taste, less heat than expected.
This sauce has good flavor. It’s a thick sauce with a very pepper forward flavor. I find myself doubting that it’s the hottest sauce made without extracts, though, as I find Torchbearer’s Garlic Reaper to be hotter and they list theirs as a 9/10. Maybe once upon a time this was accurate? I’m not sure, but I will admit that this is just my experience so it may seem hotter to others.I like that I ordered this sauce out of curiosity about the heat but actually ended up enjoying it enough to like eating it with my food.

Used to be better.
I’ve had two versions of this sauce. The first one had an iridescent label and a different order of ingredients- which I would assume implies a different recipe with different ratios of the ingredients. The first batch I had was HOT. It really was an impressive sauce that would kick you into fight or flight for a few moments. The batch I received recently was not the same type of heat. It was less spicy, and didn’t have that ‘fight or flight’ kick. It was spicy, don’t get me wrong, but it was probably only 60-80% of the heat that the original batch had. I know I’m just one person, but I would truly hope the company goes back to the original recipe. It’s misleading to sell a different recipe under the same label- especially given that it’s supposedly the “hottest sauce without extract”. How can you sell a sauce and claim it’s the hottest w/o extract if they literally sold a hotter sauce with the same name?

Tastes good and I like the thickness in consistency
Have finished 1/4 of the bottle in one week. It tastes really good and I like how it's not pure liquid like the other sauces. The thickness of it makes it much easier to manage the amount in my opinion. If you're just starting out, use a toothpick and taste a very small amount first. If it's intolerable after 2 minutes, then this sauce is not for you.Otherwise this hotsauce is hot, but tolerable if taken properly. All it requires is a dab on whatever you're eating and then disperse it around so you're not packing the entire dab all in one bite. I have accidentally overdone it on a few occasions and the heat will linger for about 5 minutes making me wish I had been more careful.

More than likely a must have for a chili head.
A most enjoyable hot sauce. There isn't much about Firey Fool that isn't great. Price, color, consistency, flavor, aroma, appearance. Top marks on all. Heat level is great for not containing extract. Not having extract was a major selling point for me as I've steered clear from sauce containing extract for a few years now. I find that their flavor is compromised most of the time. (Blairs has some good ones) Now with reapers, scorps, and jolokias at the ready. There is little need for extract. As crazy as it might sound... I do think Fiery Fool could be kicked up a notch. For a chili head this hot sauce is a solid 6 on the heat level. The flavor is reaper and scorpion heavy with some garlic notes and a kiss of cumin on the front. The heat hits your tounge more than anywhere else. A bit in the nasal passage too. About a 5 min burn. This is a 5 drops per slice of pizza sauce. For the chili head this is at least a must try. More than likely a must have.On the 2nd picture my finger is level to the cap. It's what I consider a drop.

One of the best sauces you can have! Heat and flavor
This is a very chunky sauce packed with many ingredients. I love to use this on rice and any meat. This is definitely on the spicier side but it is also met with an amazing flavor profile. I would recommend this to anyone looking for more "gourmet" sauces.

High on heat, low on flavor.
WARNING: For chili heads only!! Extremely hot!I’ve modified my feedback from 2 stars to 3:Though I don’t care for the odd syrupy consistency with a burnt, metallic sweetness, the heat, if that’s all you’re looking for is definitely there. Not a bad burn. However, if you’re looking for flavor, look elsewhere, you’ll be disappointed.
