EJ46 Pro-Arte Nylon Classical Guitar Strings, Hard Tension

Use these all the time as a pro player. I’ve appeared 4 times on The Cavern Club Liverpool as a solo artist using these strings on my guitar. Great sound. Quality product that lasts well.

I've been playing guitar for decades but classical for just one year. I had previously bought some D'Addario normal tension strings but was caught out by fakes. I didn't know that this sort of thing went on, but the set I had was laughably bad intonation-wise. So I was reluctant to trust buying more, but I thought I'd give it a go and I am very pleased I did. These strings are perfect for me, they sound great to my ears and they feel nice and firm under my fingers and no intonation problems. I know there are plenty of choices out there, but it's great to know I can always choose these and they'll be good.

I have been playing classical guitar for over 20 years. I also play a lot of other guitars & instruments so am changing between many different types of strings & equipment. Since fitting these strings to my fairly standard classical guitar they deliver such a clear & beautiful sound compared to the other strings I have tried in the past. I will upgrading my nut & saddle soon on the classical and shall be using these strings again. They are simply the best I have used and heard. Many thanks!

Bought these strings for my FIL for his classical guitar. They have a really lovely sound to them and are great quality. I highly recommend

They are ok not much to say just a bit lackluster and honestly, I can't see much change from the medium.

The second pack I opened seems to have a dud B string... won't intonate properly even when settled (off by a very significant margin), tried swapping for another B of the same set and that one intonates perfectly. Also all others in the set have intonated perfectly. Frustrating because I don't want to open up an entirely new pack!

these are my favorite d’addario strings so far. I was worried about them being ‘hard tension’, but i do not think the tension is not hard. I found them as easy / not tiresome to play as the normal one but just ‘cleaner’ sound. Also i was worried that they would damage my 40 year old guitar but it is holding and i don’t expect any problems as the tension doesn’t feel extreme at all.

Rust on on strings ! The reason may be trapped moisture in the sealed bags housing the strings. Manufactured with negligence and no vacuum. Bad quality don't buy

Note - These are high-tension strings so it is advisable to change all the strings accordingly otherwise your guitar might sound different. This is my second purchase. I had originally needed only the 5th string, but since this particular product is only available in sets, I was obliged to purchase the entire set. The nylon strings are coated with a high-tension silver-coated copper which produces a bright acoustic sound initially, but after some time, the natural bright nylon pluck will become more prominent. I am somewhat sceptical regarding the longevity of these strings for up to 3 years and the high maintenance required, which includes avoiding pressure on the strings and storing them in optimal temperature conditions. Nonetheless, I am pleased with the overall build and quality of the product. For all classical guitar players, this product is an excellent choice, albeit a bit expensive in the price segment. Given that it is an imported product, there is little that can be done about the price. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Tensione Alta - EJ 46 HARD Queste corde hanno un buon suono corposo e convincente, sono facili da montare ed il packaging è ben curato. Ottimi i bassi molto caldi, cantini con un bel carattere, suono soddisfacente nel complesso e di buon volume. La tensione è alta al punto giusto, ma le sconsiglierei forse ad un chitarrista alle prime armi (meglio una tensione minore). Purtroppo devono notare che i bassi perdono spesso tensione con un utilizzo anche non eccessivo. Inoltre ci vuole una settimana o più per mantenere l'accordatura dopo il montaggio iniziale. Dopo 6 mesi resistono molto bene a conferma della buona qualità costruttiva e sono sicuro che resisteranno ancora nel tempo. Soddisfatto nel complesso, le ricomprerei.

Soy guitarrista flamenco desde hace varios años, y estas cuerdas son con las que más cómodo me encuentro por su tensión. También siento que la durabilidad es adecuada para el uso diario que les doy. Como única pega, diría que el precio es algo más elevado desde los últimos meses, imagino que por la inflación que está experimentando todo. Está bien que hagan estos packs para ahorrar algo.
