RAD Sportz Wall Hanger Pro Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board Foam Padded SUP Rack

I usually don't do detailed product reviews, but this product impressed me so much I thought I would share my experience and feedback. I did a lot of research for different solutions. We have two 11' fishing kayaks that are about 33" wide. Price is always a factor, however space became a close second for me. 1) Price: I found similar hangers, for way more than the $38.00 I paid for these pair of hangers. So, price was great. 2) Quality: The hangers are very sturdy and the padding protects the side of the kayak and underside as well. 3) Installation: I mounted them with larger wood screws (~2.75" long), and added a washer for additional support. I made sure to use a stud finder so the screws are firmly anchored in wood (framing of exterior wall in my garage is 16" on center, so my hangers are installed 48" apart. Using an impact driver (screw gun) it took me way longer to measure how high I wanted to install the hanger than it did to actually screw them in the wall. 4) Functionality: The straps are easy to adjust and the quick-release makes it very convenient. ==== NOTE: The hangers came installed with the short end of the straps at the top. I included a picture showing that. I discovered later that the straps are Velcro and can be reversed (see pictures with red circle). 5) Space: I don't have a bunch of space in my garage, so space was important. I included a picture showing that the kayaks don't extend past the hangers. I believe the total depth to be around 20". I did add two additional hooks between the two kayaks to hang the two paddles. Overall, I am very impressed by the design of the hangers and the price. Hope this helps ---

These kayak holders are exactly what I was looking for! New house with a smaller garage meant I needed to find a new way to store my kayaks, and this product was perfect. I chose this product over others because 1) It looked more durable 2) I like that the holders are padded and 3) They actually look pretty nice on the wall. Installation: Extremely easy. All you need is a stud finder and a drill. The directions sent do a great job at detailing how you should space them out on the wall based on how long your kayak is. Quality: High quality materials. Strong metal brackets with a padded foam for the kayak to rest on so the kayak is not damaged. Also included are durable and strong straps to secure your kayak to the bracket. This was a huge plus for me as I bought one of my kayaks brand new and it is less than a year old, so I want to keep it in great condition. Strength: These are strong. Got these up and into the studs and tried pulling on them. They did not budge at all. Kayaks have been in them for about 3 months now and have had no issues. Holding Security: The Kayaks rest on a foam that does a great job of protecting the surface of the kayak while also holding it in place. Straps are also included to allow you to strap the kayak in to ensure maximum security and that the kayak will not move at all. My Kayaks: -Perception Carolina 12.0, which is a 12 foot Perception Carolina Sit Inside Kayak with an empty weight of 49-50 lbs. I also have a life vest, paddle, and couple of other items stored in the kayak on the wall. -Perception Swifty 9.5, which is a 9.5 foot Perception Swifty Sit Inside Kayak with an empty weight of 42 lbs. Summary: While I could have gone for a cheaper or more basic kayak rack, I paid a little more hoping to get a top quality and strong kayak rack. These are definitely worth the price and I highly recommend this product. I believe it is worth it. These are pretty affordable and not too much more expensive then more basic options. I believe it is worth it to spend more on these. You will be thrilled with the quality and happy, especially in the long run. Note: I paid for this and believe it is worth the price. No one asked me to do this review.

Work perfect. Heavy duty, made very well. Easy to hang on the wall to save space in a very full garage. Have comfort foam rests as to not damage kayak and Safety straps so the kayaks stay in place. I use the straps, but am confident the kayaks will stay in place. Great product, would buy again.

I have 3 sets of these hangers that bought last year and am about to order another for an additional kayak. That should say it all. Price is right, comes with everything you need, easy to install, and is very durable. Works great

I really liked the brackets. I put them on the side of my house since I didn’t want to take up space in the garage. They are easy to put it. My advice is if you are going to put them on cement head to Home Depot and get yourself some cement screws makes life so much easier. I couldn’t be more happier with the price I think they are really good bang for your money.

These work great for my fishing kayaks. I installed them on studs with the screws provided. Nice and sturdy. The Native kayak is a heavy one too.

Have had for two years now. Great product to save space as I mounted them to my fence outside. Easy to install and support my kayaks well.
