Does not taste like the original. Also, keep in mind they are smaller than the originals. The smell is different. More of a taffy with a hint of peanut butter. Texture is the same.

Not the same recipe
I have always loved MJ candies. I was so excited for the bag to arrive! The little rectangle packages of peanuty goodness! Sort of rip your teeth out chewy combined with the chunky peanut butter center…They had barely any flavor, the shape was more like that of a tootsie roll, with little “center filling” if any. I tried maybe 5 and ended up throwing the bag away out of sheer disappointment and want to preserve the memory of a childhood favorite!If you have never had a MJ before, you might like them. However, I prefer the original recipe and flavor.
