IDC Powerharness, Size: S/Mini, UV Orange

Had the previous K9 harness which was brilliant, so I was looking forward to this upgraded version. Everything about the harness really is superb except for one thing.I bought this harness in the camouflage pattern. I would start the walk with the buckle set a few inches away from the the claspe which fit my dog well. But during the walk, the buckle would loosen till it slipped as far as the claspe, and thus the harness ends up being way too slack on the dog.I returned the product and ordered again, this time in orange, hoping it was just a flaw with that particular harness. Sadly it wasn't. I've attached the photos to show exactly what I'm talking about. Pic 1. Before the walk pic 2. After the walk.It can't be a coincidence? The harness looked perfect when I took it out the pack. It slipped on first walk and the strap became creased as can be seen in the photo. I really like all the features of the harness, it's so well thoguht out and the company have worked hard on making the perfect harness. Pity they have come up short on one aspect of it.Not sure how to rectify this. I'm not going to return it again. Would appreciate some advice.

I have a 15 week old lab puppy, currently weighing about 9kg. We got this for her when she was a little small for it because we knew the smaller size would only have lasted her a week or two. It’s pretty adjustable and just about did the job when slightly oversized though there was a definite risk of her pulling out of it backwards as it was a bit loose.The only thing I’d criticise is the chest strap. The buckle has a tendency to work itself looser as my dog runs, which exacerbates the risk of her slipping out even now she’s the right size for it. A professional dog walker recommended the Perfect Fit harnesses so I may try one of those next.

This is a lovely harness that feels durable and is lightweight (even for a little puppy). I have the fluorescent orange one which is lovely and visible. No issues with this at all!Amazon asked me about stretch, security features, and comfort specifically so: There is no stretch in this but it is adjustable. As for security features. There is a D ring where you attach the lead. It seems secure but there is no backup should this fail.And finally, I haven’t tried it on personally but my dog is happy to have it put on, and seems to be comfortable with full mobility :)

Looks wonderful on my dog and he's much happier and comfier now. It seems to have solved the issue of poor fit we had with other harnesses. Hes a funny shaped lanky mongrel pup and most harnesses dont adjust enough to fit him in all areas. This is perfect. I got some patches too to customise it and had so many compliments. He wore it all day on our adventures yesterday and didnt show any signs of discomfort at all. It didnt slip or pull awkwardly and later when I took it off he didnt do his usual mad scratch and shake. He really seemed quite happy to wear it.

This is our 2nd Julius harness for our dog. We have NERVOUS printed on the Velcro attachements. We have found this invaluable for our little dog who is extremely reactive and frightened, of dogs, following an attack by another dog 4 years ago. She wears it at all times when out of the house and it is also super to be able to clip the harness to her seat belt in her bed, on the back seat of the car. We would not be without this harness now.
