You really do "Gotta Get a Gund"
When she was little, my daughter's fav stuffed toy was the classic Gund bear--the appallingly adorable Snuffles one. She's 31 and still has it. Really. Which tells you a lot about the quality of these toys Fast forward to a baby shower for Grandkid #1, and immediately I think this would be good to throw into the box with a bunch of other goodies (blankets, how boring without a bear?). However, that particular Snuffles bear comes with button eyes--so that was a safety no-go. Fortunately, Gund also has this baby-safe bear! And boy is this one a sooooft, squishy guy. It's so squishy I almost want to keep it for myself. It's beautifully well-made, cute as anything, and as far as I can tell, of the same quality as the Gunds of the past.
