They take an hour to work
On a positive note, these do the trick, but they take a long time to work. It feels like I desperately want to poop, but if I do before an hour, only the suppository comes out. It took a little bit of trial and error to work this out! It is very difficult and uncomfortable to try to keep the suppository in for the hour!Ideally I would like something that is effective a little quicker, but I now have three packets of these, so I will try and use them!

I thought there was no hope
After being on strong pain meds that caused severe constipation, and after not having a poo for 5 days and being horrendously bloated, and having failed at getting laxatives to work, I tried one of these Glycerin Suppositories, I believed it wasn't going to work, after reading the reviews while waiting for something to happen, I was only focusing on the negative ones, where a few had said they were useless and a waste of money, it caused a kind of burning sensation, not too bad though. 15 minutes went by and still nothing, I was reading reviews where they had worked for people within 10 minutes, so I was losing faith, 30 minutes later ...still nothing, I felt like just sitting on the toilet and squeezing it back out again, but decided to just leave it and lie down and pray. 45 minutes went by and still nothing, no feeling like I needed to go, nothing, waited an hour, and then I had a little urge like I needed to go, but then it went away, I had a bit more hope though after that feeling and I decided to wait a bit more to see if it got a bit stronger ...about an hour and 15 minutes went by, and then it happened! I needed to poo! and indeed I pooed! it hurt a bit obviously... I had 5 days of poop inside me, but never caused any bleeding, I'm just so glad they worked for me, I think the trick is to be patient, especially if like me with severe constipation, will definitely use these again if I need too!
