Savage

This was my fave album in 1987 and it still holds up against their entire catalogue. They revisited the synths and her vocals are stunning! She hits it out of the park with so many styles and the songs range from soul to dance to funk and sultry balladry. On vinyl it’s an even more enjoyable experience! Note: this is Annie’s personal favorite!

One of the absolute masterpieces of this band. Experimental and so much fun to listen to. However, the press… it sounded like it’s been dragged through dust, straight from the sleeve onto the turntable and hmmm. Crackle and pop is the word :(Not bad enough to send back, so maybe I got a bad example.
