ThinkGeek, Inc. Star Wars R2-D2 Coffee Press

This is the coolest thing ever!!! It works like a standard French Press, just in the shape of R2-D2. My friends want me to make coffee for them when they come over. Just so they can say they had R2-D2 coffee. It is constructed very well with a glass body. The press has a medium grind screen which is perfect if you don't feel like grinding your own and use the store grind.

What a great little French press! I'm not getting many grounds from this press at all. it's well constructed and I thoroughly enjoy it. It's great to bring it out for guests, everyone loves the look. When it's filled with that delicious coffee brew it looks fantastic!

Who knew R2 could also make coffee. Just proves R2-D2 is the better droid. Like to see BB8 make as good coffee as this little droid can do. Easy to clean, makes a good office coffee pot for your desk. Showed up on time and as advertised.

I’m a huge fan of French press and Star Wars. The picture looks a bit bigger than it it but it still holds about 2-3 cups of coffee. Wish it was dishwasher safe but totally worth it. Love my R2-D2

Love the little guy! I think it’s built well. Metal innards I think the glass is painted rather than a sticker. He's fun and functional. You can buy cheaper just as good presses but they Will NOT be as cool!!

It's beautifully designed and perfect if you're looking for something on a shelf. If you're looking to actually make coffee with it, not so good. It broke when I knocked the grinder against it (gently) to get the grounds out. I bought another one since I didn't feel good about returning the first since I was the one that technically broke it. I've been a lot more careful with the new one and haven't had issues, but I've also only used it twice because I don't want to risk breaking such a neat piece.

I ordered this R2D2 french press for my boyfriend who is a huge Star Wars fan. He has been absolutely thrilled with it. Would definitely recommend it to any Star Wars fan that also loves their coffee!
