Red Light Flashlight, 670nm Light Long Range Zoomable Red Hunting Flashlights Torch with Zoomable for Astronomy, Aviation, Night Observation

I'm a pilot and like to have a red flashlight in my flight bag for night use. Generally I've carried red / white combo lights because they are fairly easy to find, but having to cycle through the various white modes to get to red kind of kills the whole night vision preserving element of red light, and they typically and biased toward bright white and the red is usually a dim afterthought.This flashlight address all of those concerns - it's a dedicated, bright, true red flashlight. The zoom feature is pretty incredible going from an almost pinpoint light to lighting up most of a room. All in all it is the best red flashlight I've come across.However.. there are a few caveats. It's designed for the included rechargeable batteries that look like AA's on steroids but includes a 3xAAA holder so it can also use regular batteries. Unfortunately, I can't count on having a charger nearby while flying and everything else that uses batteries in my flight bag uses AA, so now I'm going to have to keep up with 2 types of batteries.
