You can see by the other ingredients, these arent reg 1000 C, but time released... ⏳💁‍♀️active ingredient is concealed in a web of insoluble substances, so that the dissolving substance has to find its way through the gaps in the web. Alternatively, the drug can be combined with other substances that, once ingested, swell up to form a gel with a near impenetrable outer coating, therefore releasing the active ingredient slowly, more like food, over 5 to 8 hours...⏳ Now why i 💛🧡💛🧡💛 time released C.. C has a really SHORT HALF LIFE!!! SO.. say you take 1000, in 30 min, its 500, in 30 more 250 etc.. I take 5 to 8000mg a day, have for years.. At least monthly i load to bowel tolerance..i work w the public and used to get every bug out there, now rarely ever..even dodged the biggie !! i take it at diff times a day bc of this half life..but i always like to have 1 to 2000 from time released so im getting it in the gaps, like while sleepin or long work days where i might forget.. And WHY i like to have a steady flow is that your body constantly uses it, and while my 🐈 can make what would be for me 10,000 A day PLUS THOUSANDS more on demand.. I, mere mortal caretaker am missing an enzyme..(no doubt why im the servant).. Cut yourself..need some C.. strained a muscle, need more, ran into some rona, even more, got stressed about the last few..yup, stress needs more.. virus, bacteria, sugar high, stress, cancer cells, collagen building...all need C ALL DAY, 'ER DAY... ..not to mention, its an electron donor..so all these mean free radicals tryin to steal electrons wreakin havoc.. C is like " hey man..here take one of mine" Now why i love this one?.. its time released C at a good price ( my other currents are 15 to 20 cents a pill...) .. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN ( and not just bc my cat told me to) 🐈🐈🐈🐈3/4 Only bc im not sure Where its made.. It says who its made for, and is lab tested * if you dont blow through thousands of C like we do, i like to put contents in 2 smaller bottles to prevent early oxidation..

This is my second purchase of this product. I love it! I swear it does wonders for my compromised immune system. I take corticosteroids for rheumatoid arthritis, which diminishes my ability to fend off illness. With a 3 year old toddler around, this product helps me to stay healthier and improves recovery time when i do get sick. I take it twice daily as a preventative and i take up to 8 times a day when i feel the beginning of a cold. I recommend it to everyone! I give it to my teenagers to help them stay well, too. Great vitamin, great value for the money.

Vitamins are hard to rate simply because you can't see them working. I have to take the manufacturer's "word" that it is time released. Also I do wish it had a lot of bioflavanoids(good of blood vessels) in it (it has none). I used to buy 1,000 mg time released Vit. C. with 500 mg. of bioflavanoids but have not been able to find it. Overall good buy.
