Aquarium Silicone

Excellent product, works great for building terrarium backgrounds.

Used this to seal some acrylic aquariums to turn into bioactive enclosures. Caulk material is easy to work with but has lots of fumes. Instructions state to let cure for several days. Because of the fumes I had to put it outside for a week before I could set up. Worked well but a lot of prep.

YES it smells right out of the tube. It’s silicone, not air freshener. Get over it. Open a window, it won’t last long.It sets pretty fast so work quickly. This stuff really sticks well to glass. The black is JET black and looks great.What I really wanted to touch base on is the cure time. The bottle says 21 days but apparently that was a typo. Someone on here said they contacted customer service and confirmed that. Anyways, per krakens website the official cure time is 24 hours depending on thickness and temperature. I give it a week and call it good!

I resealed a 65 gallon with 1 tube & had a little left .Take your time to be consistent with the bead more is better then less ! Pretty straight forward & it has a screw on top for storage should you have some left over as i did. Cure time is 24 hrs .I waited 48 ,so far so good👌

Used this for a gecko cage. Use in a well ventilated area. This stick has a pretty strong smell.

I just received this. haven't tried it yet. but i loved that the nozzles that come with them have screwable caps. plus the nozzles are perfectly pointed to fill in gaps between glass.

Built an internal filter on 55 gal tank, good bonding with glass and 6 mm plexiglass. No leaks. Let it set up for 48 hrs before water testing. Instructions said to wait 21 days. But patience couldn’t wait to test it. So far really good.

Realizing other reviews are probably fake. The design on the bottle is terrible and the pinhole to break the inner seal is size of a SEWING NEEDLE so your caulk gun attachment wont work. I literally had to use a hammer and nail to break the seal. Secondly the pathway for the silicone to exit the tube is also microscopic since that pinhole is the size of a germ. With their stupid attachment end piece that is way too long trying to get the silicone out is damn near impossible. If the end piece is that long make the damn pathway to escape the tube much wider because im pulling the gun constantly with droplets of silicone coming out of that tiny pinhole. Who designed this bro?
