Easy to fill, holds a lot, the birds like it.

This is a beautiful, very well made, sturdy bird feeder that's almost too pretty to put outside, but of course I will. I already did, because it's so awfully cold here and you can never have too many bird feeders.I love the antique white color of this bird feeder and its black trim, a small pattern of birds and leaves. The people who made this thought of everything: There are drain holes so the seed won't stay wet on the little platform, it's very easy to refill, and it's rust proof and weather proof. This feeder holds 3.5 pounds of seed.To fill this feeder, it has drop-down technology that makes it easy. The seed tube can slide down its guide string for easy refill and cleaning. Then the tube can be raised and held back in place by the pin. The feeder comes with a large hook for hanging it, and, as I said, these people thought of everything.Excellent product, a sturdy, well made bird feeder that's also gorgeous, off white with black trim of birds and branches and leaves. To refill this feeder, you just slide the seed tube down its guide string and clean it if you need to, fill it, and then raise it back up the string and put in the pin that holds it in place. This bird feeder is rust proof and weather proof, and it's definitely made to last. There are drain holes to keep the seed fresh.The target "clientele" for this bird feeder is bluejays, which I thought was unusual and should be very interesting. This is a wonderful bird feeder, the most beautiful feeder I've ever seen, and it's easy to fill and clean. It would make a wonderful gift for any occasion. I love to sit and watch the birds, and I can always use another bird feeder, but this one is special. This is an excellent product that's easy to use, sturdy, and gorgeous.

The media could not be loaded.  I LOVE having birds in my yard so I own and use a lot of bird feeders. This is a lovely feeder with the ability to drop the seed-holding part so that you don't need to take the feeder down or get a ladder to fill it. That is typically the biggest pain about birdfeeders so it's great that a manufacturer thought to address that issue. I tried to video myself filling the feeder but had limited success… I could only video how the drop- down feature works.I filled the feeder and put it up yesterday. My birds have already found the feeder and are enjoying it.Note that this feeder is not squirrel-proof. I have a squirrel problem in my yard so I typically only buy feeders that are squirrel-proof. I took a chance on this one and when I saw that it's not squirrel-proof, I filled it with safflower seeds which squirrels tend to leave alone.I can't address durability quite yet but I will try to update this review once I've used the feeder for a while. As far as value, birdfeeders tend to be expensive. Yes, this costs more than one you might find at a local Walmart but it also is more attractive and has the easy fill capability that I haven't seen before.Overall, I'm very happy with the feeder and recommend it.

Bird Feeder, Vivace Hanging Bird Feeder with Drop-Down Tech, Easy to Fill Metal Bird FeedersI love to feed meal worms to the birds here because of the types of birds it attracts in my area and also the meal worms don't drop to the ground as much and create an attraction for furry animals with long tails that I do NOT want to attract.This bird feeder is much more expensive than any other bird feeder I've purchased but so far, I would say 100% it has been worth it! It is built very well and has held strong in winter wind, rain, sleet, and other weather we've had so far in the last few weeks I've had it outdoors on a shepherds hook. It is easy to fill, and it holds A LOT.The meal worms don't come out of the holes as well as bird seed, but the birds don't seem to be bothered by this. I've seen large birds (bluebirds, cardinals and such) and small birds (black capped chickadees, wrens) perch on the feeder without issue and pluck the meal worms from the holes. I do have two other feeders on the other arms of the shepherds hook that attract them as well so I think that's helpful.The feeder is beautiful. Truly. I'd buy it again if it were in the budget and absolutely recommend!

This is great for me because I am short! This feeder makes adding seed so much easier for me!!! No more toting the step stool every morning to the garden for me! It is also very easy to clean and maintain. I love it so much I posted a video on my FB so my family could see it and they all asked me where to find it! I do wish the design was more colorful but otherwise, amazing product! Now my morning routine is much more pleasant. I get peanuts for the crows and seeds for the bird feeder, no step ladder, walk out to the garden and put the foods in the allotted places. I sit back on my porch swing with the dogs, drink my coffee and watch the birds enjoy their goodies! Lucky for me, Florida makes almost every morning the right temperature for this and my experience of not carrying the heavy old step ladder has made it so much better! I love this feeder! It has changed my mornings into such a relaxing zen time for me. Thank you to whoever dreamed this up!!!

Great feeder for all birds. Aesthetically pleasing and inventive design makes it easy to fill without unhooking it. Very weatherproof, lasting through several Texas summer storms & tornado warnings.

The first one we were putting it together, and the main rod top shaft was stripped so we couldn’t use it at all . I boxed it up and send it back and ask for a replacement. I will let you know when I receive the replacement if it’s any good.
