They are durable and easy enough to use with a sharpie. water based markers won't work for this, sadly enough.

These little labels are really quite good. The colours are excellent and haven’t faded - I wish I could say the same for the black marker I used to write on them!!! I hung them on a Holly tree which I renamed my “Gratitude Tree“. So far I’ve only managed to write a little over 100 Things I’m grateful for but there are many more to come. Every day I realise more and more. I Count my Blessings and my tree reminds me to be grateful.

These are a bit more substantial than I was expecting, so I'm looking forward to using them over and over. They're just the right size to keep track of what seedlings are which plants. Before these arrived I thought, Oh, I'll remember how many rows of each I planted (all cucumbers and squash). Hah. I'm having to wait until at least the second set of true leaves to tell who's who. Much easier to just color code them. I also bought a larger assortment of six colors, and they'll be getting heavy use for sure. I'm using wax china markers to write on them, and it's lasting quite well. (I've found permanent sharpie fades in the sun)

Excellent for marking the colour of the plant as well. I have over 100 begonia, geranium and other plants that over-winter in a greenhouse. The label colour is great for marking the flower colour. The labels are easy to write on as well.
