MediaRange MR507 BD-R DL 50GB 6x (10) Cake Box once writable

Compared to a ‘bad’ batch of other more well known brand these discs have burned well so far.

Nothing wrong with this blan BD50s. So far I've burned a few and no fails whatsoever . Thanks for the great product.

… before EVERY burn.Initially, I wasn’t impressed with these, 2 failed in quick succession 😳.My PC is shut-down every evening and rebooted (restarted) regularly. I had sorted my files for backup on this occasion and didn’t think it was necessary to reboot, IT WAS.I tried 2 burns and BOTH FAILED. I rebooted and tried a 3rd, that worked, as has (so far at least) EVERY other burn since then, but I reboot before every one now and do NOTHING beforehand, just straight to Nero and initialise the burning process.It’s a little more hassle than single-layer BDs and CDs/DVDs, but if it works, it’s worth the extra hassle 👍.Marked this as 4 stars, any lower would have been blaming just the discs and I honestly don’t think that’s the case here, it ‘seems’ to be a combination of the way the discs HAVE to be burned and Windows 🤔.Worth the money once you realise the best way to burn these discs 😎👍.

This is the first time I have bought 50gb discs and I have not been disappointed at all! I have now used them all and every disc has burned perfectly with no errors on playback. They are a good price and there seems to be no reason to buy the more expensive brands. I have burnt each disc on the slowest speed possible using "ImgBurn" software, it may be a slow process but that's what is needed as these aren't your common CD/DVD discs.The Disc ID on these are "VERBAT-IMf" which means these discs are manufactured by Verbatim, one of the best Disc manufacturers around

I brought these to write home videos that I took on my Digital camera, they play fine on the camera and on the pc, however after writing to these discs at 2x it wrote the files but as you can see from the photo I uploaded, I the footage is heavily corrupted by the write / data burnt on the disk. It’s just unwatchable / unplayable. I don’t care what the good reviews say “ I’ve been in I.T for 30 years” these disc are the worst of the worst, if your data matters to you and Storing it then spend more on better 50gb blanks or buy 25gb and spread your data out or better yet buy a pack of Mdiscs. I used the latest brand new LG burner with firmware 1.04 which is the latest and although the disc wrote, it claimed it would take 58mins to burn at 2x, but it took 2 hours and then it wouldn’t play back properly with MP4 home footage of my pets.It may show that you have data on the disc you burn with these but mark my words in a year or two you will suffer bit rot and loose your precious data

10 discs no coasters no problems. If you have problems burning any discs update your burners firmware and/or burn at a slower speed. Usually the problems noted with any discs (but there are a few exceptions) can be put down to user practice some people who want to copy movies etc do not realise they have protection problems to get round the disc copy fails and the disc gets the blame. I would reco9mmend these discs any day.Tried these as a change from my usual well known brand very pleased as they are only half the price.

I have bought these discs a number of times now, and all the discs have recorded (at max speed) successfully, and playback has always been fine.I use these discs to archive TV programmes off a panasonic BWT700 blu ray recorder, and I have printed directly onto the discs and also put disc labels onto them.For me, a winner

I bought these a couple of weeks ago, and the first three I attempted to burn appeared to be going well right up to about 99%, when an error message appeared saying 'Cannot write to media' or some such. So, it had actually written the disc, but couldn't finish. As my burner is getting on a bit, I bought a new one thinking that the old one must be on the way out. No difference - it did exactly the same. Now as these discs are relatively expensive, I'm rather annoyed (to put it politely) that I appear to have wasted my money.

Recensione *Blu-ray Disc BD-R DL 50 MediaRange*Devo dire che ero molto scettico prima di acquistare questi dischi, ho masterizzato per adesso 4 dischi è devo dire che non ho avuto nessun tipo di problema, avendo il pc fisso vecchio da 8 anni (mai dato nessun problema), con un masterizzatore Pioneer Blu-ray comprato di recente su questa piattaforma a 112 euro circa; detto questo, un consiglio per tutti, dato che ho letto alcune recensioni su alcuni dischi che non vanno a buon fine.. magari ci sarà sicuramente qualcuno difettoso, ma non tutti, quindi consiglio di non usare programmi strani o a pagamento.. tipo Nero, Power2Go etc.. ma usate ImgBurn (poi dipende da voi cosa scegliete).. il programma è gratis è non da nessun problema di masterizzazione, il che li masterizzo sempre alla velocità originale 6x (compresa la verifica a 6x), il programma ha anche la lingua italiana, ma vabè, l'importante è che faccia il suo dovere.. unica pecca..non so se sia il mio pc fisso, ma ogni tanto a fine masterizzazione a inserimento del disco, non si riesce a chiudere il programma.. e sono costretto a riavviare il computer (forse qualche difetto perché è vecchio)..Se usate ImgBurn quando inizia a scrivere sul disco, cliccate subito *Espelli*, quando poi termina la masterizzazione verificate il disco e cliccate di nuovo *Espelli*, non fate mai assieme masterizza e verifica altrimenti vi da errori :DUltima nota..Questi dischi sono Verbatim, identici a quelli originali nella scatola blu.I prezzi sono molto convenienti perché con 18 euro hai 10 Blu-ray da 50 gigaI Verbatim con la scatola blu invece ne contengono 5 da 50 giga, è costano 24 euro circa.Voto 100 e lodeAmazon TOP :DUltima recensione TOP 🤗Ho masterizzato quasi 4 confezioni di dischi bluray di questa marca, con il programma imgburn a velocità 8x, nessun problema, nessun errore e i file contenuti sopra non si bloccano minimamente, può capitare che con alcuni video o file, ci vuole più tempo, perché avvolte in imgburn esce un triangolo giallo (ma sempre senza errori) comprate questa marca è non ve n'è pentirete 💪☺️ Amazon come sempre il TOP

The failure rate is unacceptable. I have bought 200 of these discs. I have gone trought 20They better take my return then i make it.
