shold clean when you change your oil depends on how bad they look , air or break cleaner or both

You will have to measure the outside diameter of what you mount it to. 2.36 inches. Is just bigger than2 and a quarter inches

Q: would this fit a skidoo formula III 600 1996 ?

If its close to 2 inches there is a little lee way using a hose clamp

If you're putting this 54mm air filter on a 38mm carb throat, you're going to ruin your engine. You need a filter with a flange that fits the 38mm throat of your carb.
