Black Butler - Season 3 DVD

As you would expect from this universe great animation, storyline and voice characters. Sebastian ad Ciel are back and trying to out think and out game the other. Again the humour is just right and hilarious. I tried to buy the DVD Book of Atlantic and Book of Murders but the prices for a single DVD are just ridiculous from £30 to £82 and these are not even in English and according the previous review there is no guarantee that they will work on my DVD. Makers of this series please can you tell me where I can buy an English Dub region 2 of the Book of Atlantic and Book of Murders.

An absolutely tremendous series of episodes. It can make you laugh,it can make you cry and it can terrify you with its dark and rather messed up storyline. Definitely my favourite series of the three and is my favourite Anime. All this makes up for the lack of special features. If it had to some it up in one word, that word would be a Masterpiece. For all black butler fans or people just starting out (who can skip series 1 and 2 as it makes sense without them) I highly recommend it.

Have always been a fan of Black Butler so had to get the Collectors Edition blu ray. A beautiful set for any fan/collector. I am happy that it is dubbed. Not many give this information and that it is region 2/B also miss given info. Blu ray quality at its best! If only it was 4K ultraHD, amazing. I'm not one to give away the plot so won't say about the storyline. Anyone who has seen the first two seasons can expect more from the third. 😉

Glad they stuck more to the manga for this ( not really season three if you're a purist), Funimation well done but could we in the UK have the same release date as in the US ? The demon in the tailcoat has fans over this side too ! The Queens watchdog joins the circus by her order in search of kidnapped children,however what is the sinister scenario behind the grease paint and what and how is it linked to Ciel's own painful past?

I was not sure what to expect with this show (given the ending of both season 1 and 2) and was a little taken with the semi concurrent timeline used and the re-appearance of some familiar faces from season 1. it also completes a story arc that was quite pivotal yet seemed to fall through the cracks of season 1. A fitting story for the franchise if at times a little long winded

Came quickly and was in perfect condition. Am delighted to confirm this is both dubbed and subbed for those who were wondering. All I have to do now is get my hands on Book of Murder and my Black Butler collection will be complete.

Extrordinary! But you need to be a fan of manga first :) What a sense of humor, highly addictive and totally lost on kids. Wish I could have all DVDs but nit available for Europe it seems.

This arrived very fast and was very well packaged. This anime was amazing, a true emotional rollercoaster and great animation. Well worth any penny or any anime lover or collector.

So wie alle Animes aus der Black Butler Reihe (auch die Inhalte, die nicht "canon" sind, wie man so sagt) ist diese DVD für jeden Fan ein Must-Have und ist durch die englischsprachige Synchronisation besonders unterhaltsam, da sowohl Sebastian's, als auch Ciel's Voice Actor, eine herausragende Leistung erbringen.

It had me hooked by the first episode, and I found myself re-watching the season right after I had finished it. The animation is better than season 1 and 2, it's more fluid and natural in the movements of the characters. The story line is more gripping, and the humour and dialogue is on point. The music fits it perfectly. This is the season I suggest watching first because it is superior, in my opinion, to it's predecessors. The first season I would only suggest watching as it has more details about certain events that are briefly mentioned in this season. The second season *spoiler alert kind of?* doesn't follow the manga at all, but is rather, for lack of better wording, fanfiction-esque (an alternate universe version at that--meaning the writers apparently weren't happy with how the story went in the manga and decided to write an alternate ending). This season follows the manga beautifully and I was so captivated by the animation and the bright colours. It left me with an ache in my heart, as well. This is, by far, the best of Black Butler I've seen (I've not seen Black Butler: Book of Murder). It's definitely worth the money and time (especially if you're a fan of the first season)!

AWESOME! If you love the first two seasons and/or the manga, you'll LOVE this Arc! Picture is very nice on both the DVD and Blu-Ray. Totally recommend it to all the Black Butler fans out there and anyone getting into the series, because it give some more of the back story on the contract that the first two seasons don't, and it also very closely keeps with the story in the original manga! Check it out!!

Todo bien en cuanto a la rapidez y eso, lo único que me decepcionó es que no trajera el "slipcover" ya que aunque en las fotos no sale, en la de la segunda temporada tampoco sale y si lo traía así que me siento un tanto en decepción por ello ya que no se ve tan bello sin el slipcover :'(
