DEBEL Venetian Blind, Twist, Metal, White, 100 x 130 cm

I’ve installed this product above the window box on a single landing window. The item looks great and the functionality for how much light you want to let through is very good. This window is west facing so gets the evening light. The blind isn’t suitable for a full blackout if this is what you require as it comes through some of the gaps that make up the construction. Nobody would be able to see through this it in terms of privacy though so it’s well suited for its location.The product was very easy to install as I already had pre- drilled holes in place from the previous curtain. You literally have two clips to fit and the blind clips and locks straight on to those, so it’s a very easy job even for a basic DIYer. Two screws and plugs are required per clip, but I just used one either side with the existing holes and some longer and better screws so it’s well anchored. The included screws and plugs are not the best, so I would use your own if you have them, but they will do the job.It’s a solid product, I dropped it from 6ft as I was adjusting the clips and thought it was spent, but pushed all the slats back in place and its fine. Very impressive, but I may have just been lucky so I wouldn’t recommend you do the same obviously!

Excellent Blind this is.. Far Better Than Plastic/Pvc ones that break easily.. which is why I got this until I finish my bathroom refurb.👍 Major Plus Point over plastic slats as well, our bath runs along the window, which faces a single track road.. unlike plastic, with a Light on at night, at least No-one walking down, can see a Silhouette of me through it with my bits hanging out.. lol, nor my wife! I checked from outside.. See Nothing! No more laughter from the road 😉✔ Easy to fit metal mounts, just 2 screws.. Nice well thought out Lever Locking mech' on mounts.. makes for simple easy fit & removal of Blind rail body...✔ Smooth Operation of blind Up & Down.. also by turning the arm to Open or Close slats!✔ A clear plastic Fixing to Tie Cord up.✔ I got the White coated Aluminium.. Glossy finish & easy to clean by wiping Gently.✔ It will last far longer than plastic ones, with care.Just Works really, fantastic price.. considering Plastic ones can cost double the price or More.. Just nothing to moan about here. Maybe would have liked the up/down cord & brass holding mech opening to be nearer the end of rail.. but not really an issue of any note! These blinds are okay nothing really special about it, price is good, easy to install. Fitting doesn't seem too strong only time would tell anyway it came well packaged and not damaged like other reviews.

This is an extremely poor quality Venetian blind, I've put it up for less than a few days and it's already falling apart, it's very light weight, and twists very easily, the cords are also faulty and trying to pull the blind either up or down is a nightmare,

The blinds we ordered were too wide by about a inch on each end . Cutting the and trimming was a absolute nightmare !My husband is very experienced when it comes to home maintenance and diy , however , these tested both our patience and were dreadful to work with . Unless you are ordering the exact size , don’t bother !!!

So far very happy with the blinds. They are very light and easy to install. They look great when put up, we in fact installed 7 of them round our bay window (5 x 50cm and 2 x 60cm) and the Debel were great as they had a wider range of sizes than some of the alternatives.The installation video shows that the brackets can only be installed from the side, so I had to ask if they can also be installed from the ceiling and they could and we managed to installed them this way very easily.A couple of blinds had come damaged (minor) but Amazon were great in ordering replacements which came in about a day and it was a quick swap out.We have only had them up for just over a week and so time will tell how well they will last, but so far so good and very happy.

Purchased the blinds for every room in my home after getting tired of vertical blinds, delivery was quick, arrived way before the expected stock date given at checkout. They look more expensive than they cost and better than the ones you can get in argos etc. And the sizes stocked are all different to most ones you can buy, I was starting to think I would have to made to measure until I came across these.

I wanted some blinds for my pc room. These had decent reviews, when they arived they looked nice.If you are going to install them and not abuse them they will be ideal. Would i put them in a kids room, certainly not. For a home office yes.Just be aware if you shorten them ensure you tie the string at the plastic plugs with decent knots or they will fall apart, as with some reviewers on here. Its not faulty blinds its not tieing the bottoms correctly and the blinds will fail badly.For the price I paid im more than happy, these are not designed to compete with the £300 blinds i bought for my bed foom window.
