Capital Lighting M282848 Decorative Mirror, Winter Gold Finish

I was willing to spend $300 on this mirror based on the other reviews. However, when I got the mirror, the box was damaged. There were holes in the box and the box looked like it had been previously opened then taped back up. If I had had to sign for the package, I would have refused it without even opening it up. Once I opened the box, the styrofoam was in pieces and went flying everywhere. I was surprised the mirror wasn't broken, but the frame had a chip in it. It would be higher than eye level after hanging it, but knowing it was there for the amount of money I spent makes me a bit sick. If there were contact information for the seller, I would have contacted them directly to see if I could have a partial refund to compensate for the damage, which leaves me no option but to return it. It is a shame, because the mirror is very pretty and would have looked great where I wanted to hang it.

The mirror arrived in perfect condition and was much lighter than I expected. It looks very elegant above my fire place. The hanging mechanism was tricky for me because it has 2 loops, one on each side and 2 hooks that the loops need to align to. This is actually a very good way to distribute the weight vs having a single wire across the back that goes over a single hook. It was easy to measure out the distance before I nailed the hook in.

This mirror is not exactly gold. But its color is not silver either. It has an old world charm look to it. You can see that it's made out of distressed wood that was sprayed/painted. I didn't like how thick it was. I had to return it even though I like the shape.

All I can say is this met expectations and beyond. The mirror is beautiful. It was shipped in a timely fashion and the packaging was so thorough. It was surrounded in shrink wrapping, styrofoamed corners, boxed within a box, shrink wrapped onto its very own 4"0x45" pallet! This mirror was not going to be broken in shipment! Absolutely gorgeous color, mirror is great quality. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

The mirror was good, but the hangers on the back were not attached at level. As it turned out, there was an inch difference from side to side, so it was a challenge to hang correctly.

Delighted with this purchase! Absolutely beautiful and super expensive looking. Makes our powder room a knock out. 'Winter Gold' is a true silver gold so goes well many things.

This mirror is made very well and is exactly what I was looking for. It was also very easy to hang.

Yes we love it. Shape is classic quatrefoil, very sturdy traditional yet modern look. Champagne finish, not gold, more like silver finish with light gold wash/antiquing. Excellent.
