Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium 13.0 - Wireless (PC)- Unsupported by manufacturer

I have recently upgraded from Dragon 10 Home Edition to Dragon 13 Wireless Premium, and I'm very glad that I did.So, what have I got for the extra money?1/ The accuracy seems much improved over version 102/ The premium version allows me to transcribe recordings from a dictation recorder that I previously bought, which came with the recorder version of Dragon 11, but never worked satisfactorily.3/ The wireless microphone does allow me to focus on dictating my thoughts, rather than staying close to the computer.Would I buy the wireless version again?I'm not sure I would, as I spend quite a bit of time effectively wired to the PC whilst the wireless microphone is charging up. However, I'm definitely glad that I paid for the Premium version.

this is far better than the previous version but I was very disappointed to find that it only covered a single licence since I have to have two computers doing my work and that would mean I have to have a second license with a second enormous cost. It doesn't cost a lot unless you are lucky enough to have access to cheap versions through academic or other mechanisms. There are some irritating "upgrades" including the use of some of the easy ways of adding extra words and phrases – the new system is not anything like as intuitive and helpful as the old one – it is always a shame when quite a lot of the good things of old versions are ditched at the expense of bad things in a new one simply for the sake of bringing out something to get more money from! Nonetheless it is clearly better and clearly faster than the previous one with far fewer errors and a much better convenience. I am dictating this using the Bluetooth headset which seems to work reasonably well. It was not easy to set it up but now it seems to be working and apart from the fact that the battery goes flat quickly it works more conveniently than having the irritating headsets that used to come with the old system! I would recommend this but I hope that they will soon have an upgrade or an update at least so that the add word or phrase can be restored to its former position. It does save a lot of repetitive strain injury from typing I must admit and you can dictate something very fast and very effectively. There are some hangups over dictating onto website boxes but they are really quite trivial by comparison to the old system. I think it is probably worth it!

This review is only for the headset provided with this software. It was a discontinued product, which had 1.5 out of 5 stars on the manufacturer's website. There were no installation, charging or usage instructions for the headset - not even online on the manufacturer's own website! This was a terrible product and I have sent it back and ordered the software and microphone as separate items (which, btw, is also about £30 cheaper)! Do not be conned - like I was - by getting "everything" in one package. It's useless!!! Can't review the software because the microphone didn't work so I wasn't able to even test it out! Very, very disappointed.

The program was OK but the headset stopped charging after two months and will not work with my plug-in mic so now both useless

This is an old edition of the software. The current version is version 15. The new version is much better than this one.

Love it and good customer service. ( There's a maths add on out there too, just in case your searching!)

A big improvement over version 12. I love the wireless earpiece.

Dragon diction is is a program that does what it claims, but it does take a lot of time to master the program and if you have a ascent like me it makes a lot of mistakes. But it does learn how you speak, but having to go back and correct errors can be irritating at times. It is expensive but if you can afford to get it, it is a good program but rather expensive.
