Nice for furnishings
The book provides a nice overview of Scandinavian furniture and furnishings. The brief history of the principal designers and manufacturers is a helpful perspective. The description of the book's second section as an overview of 12 homes is not exactly clear. The second section shows the products in certain rooms of the homes, not really of the homes themselves. If a person is looking for a book on the design of Scandinavian homes, this is not that book.

Better than Ikea?
Nice book but nothing new, except for the cover photo. It's the same book published in 2003 by the Scandinavian Modern and Scandinavian Living. I love Scandinavian design but from the looks of this book, Scandinavian designers haven't created anything new and inspirational in the last 11 years. I guess I have go to Ikea to find it.

Fantastic Book
If you like clean plain interior design, this book is a must. It is a quality book; the photographs of the various houses are stunning and it is not in the least pretentious in its approach to design and living.

Re issue of their book first published in 2003
I was dissapointed to discover that this was a re issue of their book that had been published in 2003 which I already owned. I wish that had been made more clear.
