great product for MacBook /macbook pro users with usb-c
Given all the fun and games over usb-c cables and not being sure what works with my MacBook Pro i wanted to get one of these for usb-c (i have something similar for usb2) Its very well made with aluminium case. Plug it into the usb-c device and the cable into it and you can monitor the voltage/current through the device and whether the power is from the mac or to the mac. I tried it with an 87W power supply and it was interesting to see the different supply voltages/currents as the MacBook Pro charged. I also used it test a device to test a device that was causing some problems. it turned out ti was drawing more power than the mac could handle. I also used to it test some cables from various companies to see the various voltages.currents being drawn. I really like this product. A colleague was impressed it it to. It will be interesting to see how long the oled lasts... i've had some issues with other oled products in the past!

A handy tool for checking out usb PD devices.
This meter is great for quickly checking whether a usb c charger is behaving as expected. It shows at a glance the voltage, current, and direction of flow on the usb power lines. For the £16 I paid, it’s a no brainer when the market has so many shoddy usb c adaptors our there.I purchased this tool when I went looking for a charger for both laptops (60W) and the iPhone X (9V, 15W). After reading some deeply concerning reviews of certain usb c chargers, I went looking for a USB-PD power meter.Nathan K’s review Of the Anker 60W (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2UR46XXKO1HKW?pldnSite=1) adapter sent me towards Plugable. Now I wonder if I should follow suit and get the full sniffer as well as the power meter.

Good for what it does, but don't expect a huge accuracy in its readings
Used a pair of this along with three Uni-T USB power testers and a Kline Tools USB power tester to measure and monitor the current consumption on the USB ports of a number of breakout hubs with PD capabilities in a number of meeting room AV setups. Alright for what it does but the current measurements are not so precise. It does pass gigabit ethernet data-speed though, so I gotta hand it to them. But still, what you pay is what you get. Don't expect a proper analyser's performance from it.

Accurate!
So far so good. Works with all types of charger tested so far, from PD to OnePlus Warp and Oppo SuperVOOC charging.Pic showing Car charging my OnePlus 9 Pro @ over 40 Watts using the Oppo SuperVOOC.

Not the best construction
I bought this to replace a Satechi unit whose display became unreadable at 5 months, with the refund Amazon kindly provided. It is similar in form to the Satechi unit. The most noticeable difference was the scratches on the soft plastic screen, which obscured one digit. I polished off the scratches, but the fact they exist does not indicate any measure of quality control of the build process. The usb-c connectors connect better than the Satechi ones did.
