this is definitely the book to get when starting mixed media journaling. shows you everything you need to get started in different directions you want to go. definitely a beginners/get your feet wet kind of book when entering art journaling.

A great book for the novice - shows you what to use and how to use it to achieve a specific look.

The information in the book was great. I learned new techniques for my artwork. However, I don't like (or need) practice pages. I have paper for practice and those pages could have held more tips and techniques.

Can't think of any thing to say about this book , haven't been driven to use it , it might be ok.

NEAT. I wanted to try everything, and maybe I will, but not all at once. First, I was glued to the pages. Kristy, thanks for sharing.

i found this book really a great way to get started with journalling. Some good starters that help get the creative brain cells working

This book did not have any new ideas. It had ideas from other books I have already read. In addition to that, half the book was blank pages. Supposedly to practice on, but book page paper is not good for any wet techniques such as paint, ink, sprays, etc. Was a waste of my money to buy and a waste of my time to read.

I loved the book. I love using mixed media, and this will be very helpful. it has kept me going with my art.

Esta bien, hay muchas paginas en blanco en el interior para que vayas poniendo en practica lo que te explican (Aunque las paginas no estan preparades para tècnicas humedas) pero esta bien en general

Im Besonderen finde ich dieses Buch für Einsteiger schön, die in dem MixedMedia oder Kunsttagebücher-Bereich beginnen.Ich kenne mich eigentlich schon sehr gut aus und für mich persönlich gab es nicht so viel Neues.Aber ich nutze es um Freundinnen dafür zu begeistern, um nicht immer alleine Spass zu haben.

i think the book on whole is very good,although i thought a few things irrelevant.as you are suppose to use it as a workbook ithought the quality of pages not substantial enough for the projects asked.as your masterpieces were also supposed to be fixed within i found very early on that this is not practical.not enough space to add bulky creations and very detrimental to the book which is a shame.maybe a spiral bound/expandableworkbook would be loads more plesing

This is a nice book but I had no idea so many pages would be blank. Makes me feel a bit... uncertain about it. Like I lost something.These are deliberately left blank for you to fill in... but this was NOT mentioned before I bought it. I would not have considered it if I had known. I prefer creating in my OWN journal not filling in a book I bought.It has put me off this book.
