2 x 20 LED SOLAR POWERED TOPIARY BALL HANGING GARDEN LIGHT ORNAMENT

I decided to replace a hanging basket and side planter with these 2 x 28cm Solar Powered Topiary Ball with 20 Led Lights which arrived promptly and worked straight out of the box! The balls are set on light circular green frames covered with green plastic leaves interspersed with the lights which are powered by a solar panel. There is a thin cord on the top of the ball which can be used to hang it from a hook, or hidden underneath when the ball is placed in a pot, although it is thin and green so not really noticeable unless in use. The cable from the ball to the solar panel is about 3 or 4 feet in length and can be placed in a pot, in the ground with the spike provided, or hung up on the wall.When placed in direct sunlight, these lights automatically turn on at dusk and look very pretty for several hours! Whether they light up and how long they last for really depends on the amount of sunlight they receive - they do not perform well after and overcast day but the green balls look pleasant enough on their own - they won't fool anyone up close but are a nice low maintenance alternative to real plants - especially if placed in areas where plants are unlikely to thrive well without a lot of care!I like the option of flashing or steady lights as it will make a nice change during christmas to let them flash! These are small little lights, bright enough to look pretty without upsetting the neighbors! Not sure how weather resistant these are to fading, but as mine are both under cover, should keep their colour for awhile!

Received yesterday, hung them last night and they charged beautifully giving enough power for lights till the early hours of the morning. Was a bit worried that one might not work after reading the reviews however they both lit up and looked lovely. I hung them either side of my front door and managed to secure the solar panel on top as it’s high enough that you wouldn’t be able to see it. I then tucked the excess wire inside the ball so there was no trace of it being a solar lit topiary during the day. I’ve brought plain topiary balls in the balls of the same size and they were more expensive so I’m pleasantly surprised at the value of these. Although you wouldn’t be fooled into thinking there real even from a distance they still look lovely especially amongst real foliage.I’m yet to comment on the durability of this item however it is placed in a sun and weather sheltered area so I expect them to last a while. I’m not sure about the solar lights though but we shall see.Topiary ball doesn’t come with any chains to hang with only a little string hook.

Lights up even when it been a dull day

The best I can say is their okay for the price. The lights are not very well spread but you can tweak them a bit. One of mine flashes sometimes even when set to just on.Edit: originally a 3 star review but less than 6 months later and one of them has died completely and seller won't replace because it is only a 30 day warranty.

Two balls come with order. The ball is not fitted with a chain for hanging, but my clever husband made a little chain with hook therefore this looks lovely hanging from an existing bracket at the front of my house. It comes with a lead and little black square solar box. We were able to put this box on the top of our garage roof and it is discreet and safe.The lights are just enough to give a sweet shine but without being too glary and gaudy. . I consider this topiary ball classy and tasteful. The ball would look equally good if displayed sitting in a garden pot. In the day time when the lights are not on, the ball looks very neat and compliments the white frontage of my house. A very good buy and I am pleased with my purchase.

Very poor quality, which would explain the price for 2

I've now got 4 of these and they are brilliant. Do need full sunlight to stay lit until past midnight though. Colours can vary quite a bit so some may come a lot lighter than the previous ones. Simply put in place (mine are in flower pots), place the solar panel facing south and you are good to go.

Les boules de buis sont restées allumées jusqu'à cinq heures du matin, c'est pourquoi j'ai modifié mon premier commentaire qui était négatif.Il faut savoir revenir sur sa première impression.
