One might wonder why I gave a gold-tone pen holder five stars. Is it because I love gold? Is it because it has suddenly made me the envy of my friends? Is it because I believe this is made from real gold and I just obtained a fantastic investment? No. Well, yes, to the part about me loving gold. That much is certainly true. But I have my reasons for the five stars. Keep reading and you’ll come to understand why.The real reason that I gave it five stars is that it delivers. First, it is gold, and what is not to love about that yellowish, shiny, metallic glow that is gold.Second, as a pen holder, it does, indeed, hold pens – and a lot of them. Being 3 ¼” across and an 1/8th of an inch shy of 4” deep, this pen holder can hold plenty of pens – and look pretty good while doing it.Third, in its understated simplicity, it is classic. Its lack of extraneous embellishments and intricate designs means that it can adapt to almost any décor. It is not overly fancy; it doesn’t make a bold statement. It simply says, “I’m here to hold your pens.”Fourth, obviously, it can hold other things as well. It can hold scissors, a stapler, dog treats, coins, or even liquids. Yes, you can use this to drink your beverage of choice. If you do, it holds two cups (I measured). And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using an item marketed as a pen holder as a fancy drinking glass.Fifth, as it is made from stainless steel, it is incredibly durable. I’m not saying it will stand up to a locomotive, if thrown in front of one. It probably won’t fair too well being dropped off of a building, but I can attest to the fact that there is not a lot of give to its circular wall. It would take quite a bit of pressure to squeeze it out of shape.Incidentally, the specific stainless steel that comprises the material from which this pen holder is made is SUS304 Stainless Steel, with is the Japanese name for AISI 304 in America. It is one of the most widely used types of stainless steel and it maintains its strength and heat resistance in high and low temperatures and has great corrosion resistance (i.e., it should last for a long, long time).The sixth reason is that it’s gold! I know I mentioned that on the first point, but because I love gold so much, I thought it bears repeating. Because that part is so cool.Overall, a good find. And if you purchase it, my aforementioned comments should not infer that you WON’T be the envy of your friends. That is a very real possibility.

I laugh as i write this because theres only S🤣 much that can be said about a single cup.The cup came wrapped in plastic. I chose the gold. The cup description st8s its use is for a pen/pencil holder for a desk. Can definitely be used for that. It is super sturdy and equally heavy throughout the whole cup which means it CAN and shoupd be able 2 withstand the weight of utensils in it and NOT tip over (within reason of course, u wouldnt expect it to hold up a hammer u know?)I planned to maybe use this as a drinking cup. I got the idea once i saw the gr8 quality and knew it wouldnt corrodeYAY RUST RESISTANCE its that well made. seems sealed also in wome way i dont expect the gold to chip away over time either. we will see.Simply the feel of sipping from gold has never been had by me and should be experienced by all at least ONCE👑. this might even be gr8 holding up kitchen tools, u know spoons knives, forks small stuff. Can also be used as a catchall for tiny items u dont want lostNo lid but why wud it have one for its intended use, so und3rstandable.RECOMMENDED 10/10 gr8 value all around

This cup is not bad for an office cup! I wanted it for the bathroom and unfortunately it does not do well with water. It easily stains and smudges, but it serves its purpose otherwise.

This is a very nice quality (and nice looking) gold pen holder. It seems durable and will hold up well, although I’ve noticed that finger prints show up fairly easily on it from the short time I’ve had it, although this might simply be because I have a 2 and 4 year old at home who have touched it many a times already 😜 So if seeing fingerprints bothers you, you might go nuts wiping it down constantly. All in all it’s a good pen holder and would look great with other gold accented office supplies. I docked it one star simply because I don’t necessarily feel like it’s worth the price you pay for it; but if it’s exactly what you’ve been looking for in terms of simplicity and color, then maybe it IS worth the price for YOU!

So aesthetically pleasing

I use this to hold cocktail straws and picks on my bar.It’s from a single piece of pressed brass, so it’s nice and weighty. Brushed finish hides most scratches. It’s a really lovely piece.

Definitely golden and shiny! I love how it is versatile. right now I am just using it told the remote for now, but I plan to put a small artificial plant in there.
